GOD'S LOVE EXEMPLIFIED

Psa. 148:14. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise
of all his saints; even of, the children of Israel, a people near
unto him.
Prov, 11:20. Such as are upright in their way are his delight.
Prov. 15:9. He loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
Isa. 5:7. The vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of
Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant.
Isa. 41:8. Thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have
chosen. the seed of Abraham my friend. 9. Thou whom I have taken
from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men
thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen
thee, and not cast thee away. 10. Fear thou not; for I am with
thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.
Isa. 43:1. Thus saith the LORD that created thee, 0 Jacob, and he
that formed thee, 0 Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I
have called thee by thy name: thou art mine. 2. When thou passest
through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon
thee. 3. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy
Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been
honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for
thee, and people for thy life. 7. Every one that is called by my
name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him;
yea, I have made him.
Isa. 44:1. Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I
have chosen: 2. Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed
thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, 0 Jacoh, my
servant; and thou, Jerusalem, whom I have chosen. 21. I have
formed thee; thou are my eervant: O Israel, thou shalt not be
forgotten of me. 22. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy
transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I
have redeemed thee.
Isa, 48:12. Hearken unto me, 0 Jacob and Israel, my called.
Isa. 49:13. Sing, 0 heavens; and be joyful, 0 earth; and break
forth into singing, 0 mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his
people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 14. But Zion
said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not
have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet
will I not forget thee. 16. Behold, I have graven thee upon the
palms of my hand; thy walls are continually before me. 17. Thy
children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee
waste shall go forth of thee.
Isa. 51:16. I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that
I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth,
and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
Isa. 54:5. Thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his
name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; 6. The LORD hath
called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife
of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 10. The
mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness
shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my
peace be removed, saith the Lord that has mercy on thee.
Isa. 62:4. Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall
thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called
Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee,
and thy land shall be married. 5. As the bridegroom rejoiceth
over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Isa. 63:7. I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and
the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath
bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of
Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies,
and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. 8. For he
said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so
he was their Saviour. 9. In all their affliction he was
afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love
and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried
them all the days of old.
Isa. 65:19. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people:
and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the
voice of crying.
Isa. 66:13. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort
you.
Jer. 3:14. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am
married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a
family, and I will bring you to Zion 15. And I will give you
pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with
knowledge and understanding.
Jer. 10:16. The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the
former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance.
Jer. 51:19.
Jer. 13:11. As the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have
I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the
whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me
for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory.
Jer. 15:16. I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Jer. 31:3. Yea, I have loved thee with as everlasting love:
therefore with lovingkindness have drawn thee. 14. I will satiate
the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be
satisfied with my goodness. 32. I was an husband unto them, saith
the LORD.
Jer. 32:41. I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will
plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my
whole soul.
Ezek. 16:8. When I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold,
thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee,
and covered thy nakedness: yea, I aware unto thee, and entered
into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest
mine. vs. 1-14.
Ezek. 34:31. Ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I
am your God, saith the LORD God.
Ezek. 3727. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be
their God, and they shall be my people.
Hos. 2:19. I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will
betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in
lovingkmdness, and in mercies. 20. I will even betroth thee unto
me in faithfulness and thou shalt know the LORD.  23. I will say
to them which were not my people, Thou are my people; and they
shall say, Thou art my God.   1 Pet. 2:10.
Hos. 9:10. I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw
your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time.
Hos. 11:1. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called
my son out of Egypt. 3. I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them 
by their arms; 4. I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of
love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their
jaws, and I laid meat unto them. [1 R.V. on my]
Zeph. 3:17. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he
will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in
his love, he will joy over thee with singing. 
Hag. 2:23. In that day... will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my
servant... and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen
thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zech. 1:14. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for
Jerusalem and for Zion with great jealousy.
Zech. 2:8. He that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
Zech. 8:8. They shall be my people, and I will be their God, in
truth and in righteousness. Jer.30:22.
Zech. 13:9. I will bring the third part through the fire, and
will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold
is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I
will say, It is my people and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
Mal. 12. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein
hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother  saith the LORD:
yet I loved Jacob, 3. And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains
and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Mal. 3:16. The LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of
remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD,
and that thought upon his name. 17. They shall be mine, saith the
LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will
spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Matt, 18:11. 1 For the Son of man is come to save that which was
lost. 12. How think ye, if a man have an hundred sheep, and one
of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine,
and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone
astray? 13. And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you.
he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine
which went not astray. 14. Even so it is not the will of your
Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should
perish.

Luke 15:4. What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose
one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the
wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5.
And when he hath found it, he laveth it on his shoulders,
rejoicing 6. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his
friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I
have found my sheep which was lost. 7. I say unto you, that
likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth,
more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no
repentance. 11. And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12. And
the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the
portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his
living. 13. And not many days after the younger son gathered all
together, and took his journey into a far country, and there
wasted his substance with riotous living. 14. And when he had
spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and
he began to be in want, 15 And he went and joined himself to a
citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed
swine. 16. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks
that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him, 17. And when he
came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's
have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger 18. I
will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I
have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19, And am no more
worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired
servants. 20. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he
was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had comassion,
and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21. And the son
said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy
sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22. But the
father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put
it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:    
23. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us
eat, and be merry: 24. For this my son was dead, and is alive
again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.    
25. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew
nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 26. And he called
one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27. And
he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed
the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
John 14:21. He that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I
will love him, 23. If a man love me, he will keep my words: and
my Father will love him, and we will come unto him.
John 16:27. The Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved
me, and have believed that I came out from God.
John 17:10. All mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am
glorified in them. 23. That the world may know that thou hast
sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 26. That the
love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Rom.1:7. To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be
saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
Rom. 5:8. God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom. 8:31. If God be for us, who can be against us 32. He that
spared not his own Son. but delivered him up for us all, how
shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 39. Nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Rom.11:28. As touching the election, they are beloved for the
fathers' sakes.
1 Cor. 2:9. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.  Isa. 64:4.
1 Cor. 3:9. Ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
1 Cor. 6.19. Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your
own 1 20. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God
in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Cor. 7:23.
2 Cor. 5:18. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to
himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation; 19. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them
and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20. Now
then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you
by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.   
21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that
we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Cor. 6:16. Ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath
said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their
God, and they shall be my people.
2 Cor. 13:14. The love of God, and the communion of the Holy
Ghost, be with you all.
Eph. 1:3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ: 4. According as he hath chosen us in him before
the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without
blame before him in love: 5. Having predestinated us unto the
adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according
to the good pleasure of his will.  6. To the praise of the glory
of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Col. 3:12. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and
beloved, bowels of mercies. 
Heb. 11:16. God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he
hath prepared for them a city.
Jas. 1:18. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
