THE SIMPLE TRUTH OF 2 SAMUEL 7:10
"Moreover I WILL appoint a place for my people Israel, and I will
plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move
no more ......"
When Dr.MOFFAT was translating the Bible, he kept this verse as
written by the KJV translators .... WILL appoint .... FUTURE
tense.
This was said by God to David, when Israel was ALREADY IN
Palestine. Yet the Lord is telling David that He would in the
future put Israel in a land of their own to move no more. Common
sense tells you this appointed place was going to NOT be in the
present Palestine, but in another land OUTSIDE of Palestine.
Dr.Moffat was asked by a man opposed to the teaching that the
people of Israel are outside of Palestine, and wanted Moffat to
translate it differently. Moffat said he could not do that, as he
had to remain true to the Hebrew tense.
The NKJV; the NIV; the New Living Translation; the Tanakh; the
Amplified Bible; the New ASB; the LXX; the Complete Jewish Bible
by David Stern; and the original 1611 KJV translation; and
Green's Hebrew/English Interlinear; ALL translate it in the
correct tense "I WILL appoint ... and I will plant them."
This is a simple clear proof that AFTER THE TIME OF DAVID, GOD WAS
GOING TO MOVE Israel to another place, where they would move no
more to the end of the age.
It was fulfilled when the House of Israel was taken captive by
the mighty Assyrian Empire and deported out of Sameria/Palestine,
never to return en mass, but to finally travel into Europe and
Britain (and so Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) and
also the United States of America.
