DANIEL FOR TODAY
The Basic Prophetic Messages
This will not be a verse by verse commentary. As the
important prophetic messages have been covered in detail in other
studies on this Website, I will only give an overview of them
here.
CHAPTER 2
The Great Image
Babylon was the head of gold. (625 - 539 B.C.)
Persia was the breast and arms. (539 - 330 B.C.)
Greece was the belly and thighs. (333-301 B.C.)
Rome the legs of iron. (31 B.C. - 476 A.D.)
The 10 toes and feet are the 10 kings of Revelation 17:12-14,
which will fight Christ at His coming. The 10 kings will be from
the nations of Europe - and we will not know who they all are
until very near the end of this age, The God of heaven shall
smash this united force led by the man "beast"
(political/military leader and the false prophet religious
leader) and then set up the Kingdom of God on earth, which shall
rule all nations.
CHAPTER 7
The Four Beasts
We have a prophecy that extends to the Ancient of days
sitting on His throne and One like the Son of man coming before
Him to receive rulership over all nations, peoples, and
languages; a kingdom that shall never be destroyed (verses 1-14).
The Interpretation
It is given to us (verse 16). It is again picturing the FOUR
world ruling Empires as in chapter two. The 4th one is the
important one. It is the ROMAN EMPIRE. It was to have 10
resurrections. 3 would be secular, 7 would be religious. The
LITTLE HORN was and is the Papacy. It came into being after 3
secular revivals of Rome came. It was to be the ruler of the last
7 Holy Roman empires to come down to the coming of the Son of
man. This little horn did indeed make war with the saints of God,
and will again at the time of the end, during the 7th and final
resurrection of the Holy Roman empire NOW forming in Europe. This
little horn has spoken great words AGAINST the Most High, it has
worn out the saints even to death, it has changed times and laws
(the 4th commandment was changed from the 7th day to the 1st day
of the week - the Feasts of the Lord have been replaced with
pagan false festivals). It will rule once more for a time and
times and dividing of a time - the 42 months and 1260 days of the
book of Revelation. But JUDGMENT WILL SIT and the little horn's
kingdom shall be taken away, and destroyed. The saints of the
Most High will have the Kingdom of God over all nations and
peoples. All the earth shall serve the Most High.
CHAPTER 8
Vision of the Ram, He goat, Horn
The interpretation is given and it is for the time of the
end (verse 16,17).
The ram with two horns is the kings of Media and Persia. The
goat is the king of Greece. The great horn is the first king -
who was Alexander the Great.
After his death four horns stood up - the Greece Empire was
divided into four by Alexander's four generals. The kingdom
continued per se as moving into the Roman empire and on down to
the coming of the Son of man. Out of the remains of the Greece
empire a little horn arose and moved towards the pleasant land or
holy land. It was the Papacy. It waxed great, it cast down some
of the host of heaven, the saints of God. It even magnified
itself to the Prince of the host - towards Christ. It cast down
the truth to the ground. It practiced and prospered.
In the last days a king of fierce countenance and
understanding dark sentences - what seems like a wise religious
leader - shall stand up. This is the false prophet of Revelation.
He shall have mighty power, yes able to work miracles. He shall
destroy, shall prosper, shall practice, and shall lead the power
that shall destroy the "mighty and holy people" (the children of
Israel and Judah and the saints of God).
He shall MAGNIFY himself in his heart, and shall by cunning
"peace" destroy many. He shall stand up AGAINST the PRINCE OF
PEACE - he will try to fight against Christ, but he will be
broken. It all fits in with what is recorded in the book of
Revelation and the last 42 months of this age.
The 7th resurrection of the last Holy Roman Empire will be
guided by the false prophet - the leader of the Babylon Mystery
religion church - the Christian mystery religion that claims over
1 BILLION members, as well as many Pro-testant daughter churches.
This religious leader will not only have a wisdom of the world,
but will have miracle working powers, not of his own hand, but
that given to him by Satan the Devil. This end time Holy
Roman/Greece/Babylon empire will rise in Europe, as all the other
6 resurrections of the Holy Roman empire rose. It will be
PROSPEROUS, MIGHTY, IN TRADE, POWER, and RELIGION.
This king of religion shall indeed lead a power to destroy
the people of God - the literal children of Israel and the saints
of the Most High. He will cause the GREAT TRIBULATION to come on
this earth. He will cause all things that are written in the book
of Revelation to come to pass.
He and his army from 10 nations in Europe will FIGHT AGAINST
CHRIST, the Prince of Peace, but this man will be BROKEN without
hand - not in a human way, but with the super-natural power of
the war waging Christ on His return from heaven to earth, just as
related in the last chapters of the book of Revelation.
It is a vision of the END TIME, that Daniel saw, and it is
no wonder "And I Daniel FAINTED, and was SICK certain days..."
(verse 27).
CHAPTER 9
In passing let me say that Daniel 9 and verses 24-27 are
VERY MISUNDERSTOOD AND MIS-APPLIED by the prophets of the
fundamental Christian churches. It has NOTHING to do with an
anti-christ making a covenant for 7 years with the Jews, breaking
the covenant by polluting and stopping animal sacrifices by the
Jews in some physical temple in Jerusalem, and the "rapture" of
the church to heaven, while this anti-christ brings great
tribulation on the earth.

CHAPTER 11 and 12
The longest continuous single prophecy in all the Bible. It
is all explained in my study called "The KEY to the Future" on
this Website.
Here I will give you the over-view from when it applies to
the end time, or the last 3 and 1/2 years of this age, and
leading into the continued prophecy of Daniel 12.
Starting in verse 40. The king of the south (an Egypt led
Arab confederation) will "push at" (we are not told what this
will be) the king of the north - the 7th resurrection of the Holy
Roman empire in Europe. The king of the north will win the
battle, and as it comes down in victory, it will move into the
land between the seas, the glorious land, the holy land, but in
that region this power and its two leaders will find their end
and destruction. But not before there is now to be a time of
trouble such as never was on the earth in all recorded history.
The multitude of them that sleep in the earth shall awake - it is
the time of the resurrection of the saints. The wise saints will
shine as the stars of heaven.
The prophecy is for the time of the end, when many shall run
to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased (12:4).
All that I have expounded to you in the book of Revelation
under "The New testament Bible Story" shall come to pass. All
that we have seen in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel,
will come to pass.
When is the end of these wonders?
Verse 7. It is for a time, times, and an half (time) - it is
for 3 years and 6 months - it is for 42 months - it is for 1260
days; all given again in the book of Revelation. BUT .... A
LITTLE MORE!!
FROM THE TIME THAT THE "DAILY" (the word "sacrifice" is not
in the Hebrew) shall be stopped, taken away, there will be 1,290
days. And blessed is he that waits to the 1,335 days. Daniel is
told to wait till the end be, "for you shall rest, and stand in
your lot at the END of the days!" (verse 13).
Daniel will be RAISED - RESURRECTED - STAND UP AGAIN IN HIS
LOT, WITH THE OTHER SAINTS, BUT NOT TILL THE END OF THE DAYS, THE
END OF 1,335 DAYS.
IT IS NOT HARD TO FIGURE. The start of the WONDERS to come
in at the end time, will start at the time of trouble such as
never has been on earth. The RESURRECTION of Daniel WILL NOT BE
UNTIL THE END OF THE DAYS, the END of 1,335 DAYS.
THERE WILL BE AT LEAST 1335 DAYS FROM THE START OF THE STOPPING
OF THE "DAILY" - THE "DAILY" TAKEN AWAY AND THE RESURRECTION OF
THE SAINTS!!
