RIGHTEOUS INTOLERANCE!
by W.H.Bennet (courtesy of CIA)
In questioning and denying the basic truths of the Christian
Faith-the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the Divinity
and Virgin Birth of Jesus, His Vicarious Atonement, His physical
Resurrection, and His Coming again - the Modernist preachers and
teachers are fulfilling the role of those false prophets whose
appearance in the Christian Church the Bible itself foretells.
Thus in denying the Divine Authorship and Authority of the Holy
Scriptures the Modernists fulfil the very prophecies they them-
pic by selves deny.
Furthermore, we pointed out that according to 1 John 4:3 and
2 John 7, these false prophets and teachers are motivated by the
evil spirit of antichrist, and thus being antichristian and
therefore ANTI Christ, their traitorous presence in the Christian
Church should not be tolerated.
Naturally, such a statement immediately raises the cry of
intolerance, and the contention that everyone has a right to his
own opinion. But, HAS HE?
Under a broad interpretation of freedom of religion, one may
have the right to start a new religion which denies the Deity of
Jesus and the other fundamentals of the Christian Faith, BUT, so
long as he claims to be a Christian and preaches or teaches in
the Christian Church, should he not uphold those doctrines which
CONSTITUTE the Christian Faith? If he no longer believes them,
would not common honesty demand that he leave the Church, rather
than to continue in a false position, accepting his salary under
false pretences?
Further, a few moments' reflection will show that Jesus is
not a person about whom Christians can have more than one
opinion. He claimed to be the Promised Messiah or Christ whom the
prophets had declared would be God Himself come to earth in human
form, born into the world through the medium of a virgin mother.
Such a claim is either TRUE or it is FALSE. One either
believes it or he does not; if he does he is a Christian; if not,
he is antichristian. Certainly no Christian can question or deny
it, for it is either literally and absolutely true, or it is the
most presumptuous and awful blasphemy ever uttered.
Thus, to claim to be a follower of Jesus, and to preach,
teach, or pray to God, in His name, without believing in His
Deity-that He was God in the flesh--is to be guilty of
proclaiming as truth the words and teachings of one whose
statements you, yourself, do not believe, and of praying to God
in the name of one you believe to be an impostor.
Therefore, one can either declare with Peter: "Thou art the
Christ, the Son of the living God;" and with Martha: "Yea, Lard:
I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,
which should come into the world," or he is NOT a Christian. For
Christianity is not just an acceptance of, or agreement with, the
things which Jesus taught, BUT a firm belief that He IS God come
into the world in the flesh to give His life in payment of the
penalty of our sins. He who questions or denies this fact this
Rock on which Christianity was founded is certainly NOT a
Christian.
It follows, therefore, that a Christian is not entitled to
his own opinion about Jesus, for to the Christian only ONE
opinion is possible; any other automatically excludes him from
being a Christian. Certainly, therefore, those who preach and
teach in the Christian Church, are not entitled to hold or to
express opinions ABOUT Jesus but only to teach the Truth as it is
stated in the Holy Scriptures. Note what St. Paul says:
"If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed" (Gal.1:9).
Modernist preachers and teachers, therefore, should not be
tolerated in the Christian Church, and certainly no true
Christian should support them. Further, the Scriptures command us
to ostracize them completely. We are neither to admit them to our
homes, nor to express any wish for their success, for: "Whosoever
... abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God ... If
there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him
not into your house, neither bid him God speed. For he that
biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" (John 9-11).
Thus, if we are to avoid participating in their evilness, we
must neither support, encourage, nor associate with those who in
their preaching and teaching question or deny the Deity of Jesus
and the Purpose of His Death. Certainly this is intolerance, but
it is a righteous intolerance-that intolerance of evil which
every right thinking and certainly every true Christian should
exhibit.

NOTE:
THERE ARE TODAY SOME, EVEN WITHIN THE CHURCH OF GOD 7TH DAY SABBATH
OBSERVING CHURCHES, THAT TEACH JESUS WAS ONLY A MAN, HOWBEIT, WITH
MORE OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD THAN YOU AND I HAVE. SOME GO AS FAR AS TEACHING
THAT JESUS DID NOT EVEN EXIST BEFORE HIS HUMAN BIRTH IN THE WOMB
OF MARY!!
LET ME RAISE MY VOICE, LET ME MAKE IT AS CLEAR AS THE SUN BEAMING
ITS RAYS ON A CLOUDLESS DAY. SUCH TEACHINGS AS I'VE STATED ABOVE
ARE ***HERESY*** SUCH PEOPLE WHO TEACH SUCH AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO
ALLOW THEM TO TEACH SHOULD BE CAST ASIDE, IGNORED, BANISHED FROM
YOUR MIND AND READING. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER YOUR
HOME IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM!!
NOTHING IS CLEARER IN THE BIBLE THAN THAT JESUS WAS AN ETERNAL
BEING, PART OF THE VERY GODHEAD, WAS GOD AND WAS WITH GOD, AND
HUMBLED HIMSELF TO COME IN HUMAN FORM - IMMANUEL - GOD WITH US -
TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS AND MY SINS AND THE SINS OF EVERYONE, SO WE
MIGHT HAVE HIS RESURRECTED GLORY AND BE BORN INTO THE VERY FAMILY
OF GOD.
ALL OF THIS MIGHTY AND WONDERFUL TRUTH IS EXPOUNDED IN MANY
STUDIES ON THIS WEBSITE.
