MEDICAL MISTAKES
It's been on the National news once again. Medical mistakes from
doctors, to labs, to specialists, DO HAPPEN - a number of
hundreds of times each year in the USA and Canada. People are
diagnosed wrong, people have operations etc. when it was all a
mistake!
If you have never read the book "Confessions of A Medical
Heretic" by Dr. Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D. then do yourself a
favor and read it. It is an old book, published in 1979.
Mendelsohn was (is now dead) the Chairman of the Medical
Licensing Committee for the State of Illinois, also Associate
Professor of Preventive Medicine and Community Health in the
School of Medicine of the University of Illinois and the
recipient of numerous awards for excellence in medicine and
medical instruction.
Underneath the front cover title of the book is:
tells you how to guard yourself against the harmful impact upon
your life of doctors, drugs, and hospitals
Also on the front cover are these words:
CAUTION: Medicine as practiced in America today may be dangerous
to you health
This book may be in your local Library. Read it!
When Mendelsohn was alive nobody would debate with him on the
radio waves or TV. They all said it would be a no contest win for
Mendelsohn, because he was too accurate and too well informed.
According to what I was listening to on a TV National News
program from the USA, nothing has changed in 30 years since
Mendelsohn wrote his book.
SERIOUS MISTAKES in Medicine are STILL happening!!
YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES ALWAYS NEED TO GET A **SECOND** OR EVEN
**THIRD** MEDICAL OPINION when faced with what they are saying to
you is a very serious condition. Believe it or not some have been
diagnosed with CANCER (breast etc.) when it was all a MISTAKE!
You NEED TO REMEMBER that Medical Mistakes do happen, ARE
happening somewhere, each day, in the USA and Canada (and I'm
sure in all other parts of the world also).
REMEMBER FRIENDS, BRETHREN, GET A SECOND OR THIRD OPINION!!
