Past and Present Horrors

I've been watching a new CBC documentary in 6 parts called, "Love, Hate,
and Propaganda." It's all about the 1st and 2nd World Wars. I've caught
only the last 3 parts; I must send for the DVDs of it all. It has been
an eye-opener. I guess most of us know about the love and hate that was
all part of these two world wars, but the "propaganda" part .... well most
I think have not seen those world wars from that recorded history in words
and on film. The Germans had their spin on things to keep their people and
military men in deception as to why THEY were in the right, and why it was
they who were the hand of God to bring the world peace "German style." It was
"propaganda" of course. The British and allies had their "take of it all" -
propaganda you might say, as to why they were the good guys and the Germans
etc. were the bad guys.
It was eye-opening to see how both sides used propaganda, only giving out in
words and action what they figured was needed for their side to win the victory.
Coming to the Second World War, you had this little town in Germany where
the Nazi power had a diabolical "death camp" - unknown to all the people in
this town, kept unknown, as much of their brutality and mass killings of Jews
and others was basically kept unknown from the German everyday people, who they
wanted to be ignorant of it all, hence propaganda to do that job.
The Americans, with General Eisenhower in charge, had put on film the bodies
of the Nazi dead as he said it needed to be recorded for no doubt he said, someone
one day would come along and say the death camps never happened. Then, also recorded
on film, he had the town people (where this "unknown" death camp was located) march
through and march by all the bodies of hundreds of victims. This film was also shown in
local theaters and Germans were made to see it, so they could know the depths of
evil that the Nazi government was employed in over 6 years of world war. The
faces of people having to walk by all the horrid dead from those death camps
was also shocking, for it showed the Nazi propaganda over those 6 years of
war had worked on tens (nay, hundreds) of thousands of everyday Germans. It was
shocking to realize German people (everyday citizens and soldiers of course),
really thought they were in the right and the rest of the world was in the wrong.
(Now we must remember many Germans fled from Hitler and knew he was a mad man).
The story of France in the 2nd World War is a shocking propaganda story. You
had this Nazi appointed fellow (who sided with the Germans when Germany took over
France) and he blasted out speaches, one after another, over the air-waves, on
behalf of the so-called good righteous Nazi Germans. And thousands of French
people BELIEVED IT ALL!! Then you had Chalres de Gaulle (a French General) in England,
blasting out messages to the French, denouncing the evil Nazi Germans. It was
propaganda used on both sides (of course one was good propaganda for the truth
of the matter and the other was bad propaganda for what was the evil of the
matter).
Then you had the propaganda from the Japan Government war machine and the USA
Government war machine. The Japan people were given propaganda as to why they
should hate the USA, and the USA people given propaganda as to why they should
hate the Japan people. Clear examples were given.
Part of the propaganda from Japan was that THEY were the righteous ones, that
the gods had determined to use them against the evil unrighteous Americans.
That Japan had never been defeated in war at any time in its history. That they
would be the victors. The propaganda was not only aimed at the people but also
at the children. The documentary program showed film of children at school etc.
united with one voice, with body and arm actions, as one symetric whole, united
with the gods on their side, as the chosen people of the gods to defeat the evil
USA nation. The Japan Government over and over told the people they could not
lose, they were undefeated in history and could not possibly be defeated. The two
atomic bombs dropped on Japan by the Americans showed in no uncertain way that
Japan was going to be defeated. When Japan signed unconditional surrender the
looks on the faces of the Japan people ... well, the wrong propaganda ... it was
shattering!!
The new CBC documentary of "Love, Hate and Propaganda" gave a quite different
spin on the two great world wars of the 20th century - the view from a propaganda
side was very revealing, as to how millions can "just go along with" without
questioning, "a propaganda scene" that puts them in the right and everyone else
in the wrong.
I guess it's the same for millions of "religious" people around the world, who
never question the propaganda they are fed and believe, as to why THEY are
correct and everyone else is wrong.
You need to be aware of propaganda! You need to do as the apostle Paul said,
"prove all things and hold fast to that which is good" (1 Thes.5:21).

Pakinstan is being flooded out - 1600 dead so far, and much of its land under water.
Now desease, starvation, clean water problems, is about to unleash its deadly head.
A Government with the atomic bomb, but helpless it seems to help its people in
real time of need. What a contraditions!

On CBC "As it Happens" (a Monday to Friday evening radio news program) gave the
terrible facts of how the USA Government (and probably many others of the
Western world also) at times does its dirty work. I did not write down the specific
names, so must relate in generalities. During the Nixon President age, this USA
military man was made the fall guy to something that happened in the Vietnam war.
The CBC played the phone conversation between Nixon and his right hand guy (Kissinger)
admitting this military guy was innocent of the charges. Then a few days later, Nixon
(with Kissinger, secretary of state agreeing) blaming the military fellow and firing
him. Only NOW has he been exhonorated and had his name cleared of all blame (the fellow
is already dead).
You talk about the LIES, the scheming, the deceit, the blame shifting, that goes on
in government circles at times, no wonder God in His prophetic word, says our
leaders are mad and our prophets profane. The CBC interviewed a man who knew this
military general and he told us he was impecable in character, and always believed
he was innocent of all charges. And he was innocent. What the Government under
Nixon and Kissinger brought on this General and his wife .... well you can figure it.
......
Once again, it is brought to the USA public attention that OBESITY is a HUGE, huge
problem in the USA, that not only is not going away, but it getting worse by the year.
You need to make sure YOU and your children are NOT part of this problem. If you or them
are, you better push away from the eating table, get on a healthy diet and get
off your ass and get exercising!

And taking about diet, it was announced on one of the USA national news stations this
August 13th 2010, that we now have 40 "spices" in our kitchen as opposed to 10 spices,
25 years ago. The USA people are hooked on "spicy food" - the more spices the better
it seems. Now the Bible says, "salt is good" (in balance of course). But you need to
take seriously "Mr.Health and Strength" man from yesterday - Charles Atlas - and learn
if you must, to get your taste buds enjoying the natural flavor God put in the foods
we should be eating, and get off the drug of "spiced out foods." Which by the way, may
be part of our obesity problem!
