CAN GM AND CHRYSLER BE SAVED?
CONFICKER VIRUS WORM TO HIT APRIL 1ST
FIREMAN UNITED WITH BABY
March 31st 2009. The two large North American car manufacturers,
General Motors and Chrysler are only just holding on by their
finger nails. The USA and Canadian Governments are giving them 60
and 30 days respectively to draw up new plans to streamline their
production, or they may be allowed to go into the "b" word. Both
companies lost tens of Billions of dollars in 2008.
They will need to rework with their workers wages and benefits.
They need to quickly revamp their cars to be leaders in "green
energy" - solar and/or electric models if they are going to
survive.
In they do not survive it will be a disaster. Just in Canada
there are 600,000 workers in the direct and indirect auto
industry, that could mean their loss of work if GM and Chrysler
disappear from the scene.
Detroit, the hub for decades of the North American car making
world, has an unemployment rate presently of 22 percent. The city
used to be a population of 2 Million, it is now 800 thousand.
House foreclosures are by the block full.
The State of Florida is going down the toilet also. Tourists are
not coming, hence the life-line of that State is getting cut off.
House foreclosures everywhere. Some just pack things up and
abandon the house, some even leaving cars behind.

The Conficker Virus Worm is supposed to hit on April Fools Day,
the 1st. They say it is not from some kid in the basement of
their parent's home, but a very professional designer. It could
play havoc with Computers all around the world.
I hope and pray I will be able to continue doing what I'm doing
on my Website after tomorrow comes and goes.
......
Canadian PC whiz guys broke the code of a HUGE spy worm. It is
centered in China, and it was able to get into very classified
Government files in 100 or so countries. China denies it has
anything to do with it.

To end this Meltdown, a warm and inspiring story. In 1968 firemen
in Boston were called to a fire. A little baby girl, four months
old was rescued by this fireman, she was "out of it" as we say.
He was giving her the kiss and breath of life, saying, "Come on
little one, breath." Pictures of him doing this were sent around
the world. The little baby finally started to cry. He saved her
life. 40 years later this now grown up mother of 6 children,
wanted to find this fireman and personally thank him. She could
not seem to locate him. Knowing his name, she went to a reporter
at the a local Boston news paper and asked if she would help find
this fireman of 40 years ago. The young newspaper lady did. And
they were re-united after 40 years. It was wonderful to see them
together.
A beautiful story! The world still has good inspiring stories to
share with us.
