Kennedy Dies!

My Dads is 89!

AS THE WORLD TURNS FOR NOW
CIA documents now released (but with many blacked out areas)
reveal the disgusting mental/physical torture tactics employed
after 9/11 by the USA military machine. Prosecutions are very
likely. The question being asked is did those tactics come from
rogue people or from as high as the White House.
......
Greece is on fire, literally - doing great damage to homes and to
people's lives.
......
Tornado hits township in Ontario, Canada - called a catastrophe -
major uproot for many, up to a year for some.
......
Fastest man on earth sets new world records in 100 and 200 metre
dash. At 6'5" maybe more tall guys (how about some Basketball
players up to 7 feet tall) will try out for sprint races. Maybe
it time the world will have to divide the spring race to those 6
feet and under and those over 6 feet tall. I mean think of the
stride a 6'6" or more guy has. Seems only right to have the
spring races divide.
......
12% increase in famine and starvation from one year ago. ONE
BILLION persons are under-fed - that is one in six humans. But we
have increased 20% the food production than 30 years ago. Africa
suffers the most. Obama says leaders of Africa must take greater
leadership and responsibility. Africa faces a massive catastrophe
unlike anything known for famine and starvation. Jesus said in
the last days before His return there would be FAMINE as never
before.
......
Violence in Afghanistan continues - 295 coalition forces killed
in last year - more than ever - yet even more civilians killed.
......
It's the end of a political "dynasty" - senator Ted Kennedy died
from his brain cancer. He was in some ways a remarkable senator,
the news programs have covered his political life and bills he
helped pass. He was a man of the average poorer person. He fought
for them, for many reforms to help the poor and needy and lower
income people. He was also a down-to-earth man to have as a
neighbor, so his neighbors said. He worked hard, very hard they
say. Tried to get along with all from whatever political line. It
would seem the famous Kennedy line has come to an end.
......
It was my Dad's Birthday, yesterday August 26th. It was also the
anniversary of my Mother's death in 1994. My Dad is now 89 years
young, and still doing well. I tell him I could be celebrating
his 100th birthday with him. If Jesus does not return in the next
20 years, I sure pray I will live as long as my Dad. We both
believe in a good healthy diet with vitamin and mineral
supplements. I'll be 67 on September the 11th, yes 9/11, and can
on a good day, still do a Roy Rogers one movement jump into the
stirrup from the ground into my saddle on my golden Palomino
horse.
......
To be continued from time to time
