COOL TO BE KIND
December 23rd 2008. For about a week now the CBC National News
Canada, has been running a series of daily stories about being
KIND. It could be individuals being kind to this or that, it
could be a group of people being kind to an individual, it could
be individual being kind to animals; it's about KINDNESS, and the
viewing population sends in to CBC their stories about KINDNESS.
The CBC then sends out its team to make a 10 minute documentary
on the kindness.
For societie's obvious reasons at this time of December we hear
the good stories of people being kind to each other.
In a world of sorrow, sickness, wars, accidents, distress, death,
heartache, cruelty, and just plain old sin, it is very good to
know, to hear, to see, the stories of KINDNESS.
The Bible does not hide from us all this sorrow and sin and
heartache. The Bible makes it plain it will be there until the
restitution of all things, until the age to come has come to this
earth, via Jesus Christ returning to establish the Kingdom of God
on this planet and to rule all nations in judgment and love.
Until then, we do need to look for and appreciate that there are
still many individuals and groups of people out there, who are
ACTING AND LIVING IN KINDNESS!
THE BIBLE TEACHES US THAT WE DO NEED TO BE KIND TO OTHERS, TO
OTHER HUMAN BEINGS, FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND
ALL CREATED BEINGS OF THE ONE TRUE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE. WHY THE
BIBLE EVEN TEACHES US TO BE KIND TO ANIMALS.
SO, IF IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE YOU STOPPED TO MEDITATE ON HOW
***YOU*** CAN BE KIND TO OTHERS, THEN PLEASE DO STOP AND NOT ONLY
MEDITATE ON IT BUT PUT YOUR KINDNESS INTO ACTIONS!!
THERE REALLY IS NO END IN THIS PRESENT WORLD TO FIND AVENUES IN
WHICH YOU CAN SHOW KINDNESS!!
BE KIND TO SOMEONE TODAY, TOMORROW, AND FOR THE REST OF YOUR
PHYSICAL LIFE. AS THE SAYING GOES, "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES
AROUND." AS YOU SHOW KINDNESS TO OTHERS, OTHER WILL SHOW KINDNESS
TO YOU.
JESUS SAID AS WE HAVE MERCY UPON OTHERS, GOD THE FATHER WILL HAVE
MERCY UPON US.
