THE HISTORIC ELECTION IN AMERICA
In one way or another this November 4th in the USA will go
down as being historic.
There will either be an African-American (though he is half
white, so not really a true blooded African) in the White House
or there will be a woman Vice-President for the first time ever.
But the bottom line friends is that none of the four running
for President and Vice-President, KNOW the WAY of the true God of
Israel. They are all a product of their own particular society
and up-bringing in their particular up-bringing, from child to
adult.
I do not question their sincerity, but as the saying goes,
"You can be sincere, but still be sincerely WRONG!"
The USA as a nation has lost its way with the true Lord of
the universe. Turning out en mass in the line-ups to cast a vote,
may have the media attention as the largest in decades, but it
has not caught the eye of the Almighty. Such a turn out to vote
for a new President means nothing to God, for if the heart and
mind and life of the people of the United States is not turned
back to their God, with DEEP REPENTANCE, and a humble mind of
WANTING to LEARN AND OBEY the way of the Lord, then all is in
VAIN, it is mere vanity, an historic vote in numbers only.
Then again, it is not all the people's fault. God puts a
whole big bunch of blame on the secular leaders, and the
religious teachers of the land. It is they who should be guiding
the people into the way of the Lord, the true ways of
righteousness and holiness. But THEY have FALLEN .... fallen VERY
SHORT of the mark!
I will tell you, it makes no difference who sits in the
White House for the coming 4 years. SIN and EVIL and
UNRIGHTEOUSNESS of the ways of life of the people of the United
States will NOT END! Some physical things may change, maybe for
the better, but then maybe not either. But what counts the most
with the Lord WILL NOT CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.
You may think the needs are to be for the physical, the
economy, jobs and money in your hand, and that may be nice to
have, but if it comes at the expense of SERVING THE WAY AND LAWS
OF GOD, it is also vanity, today here and gone tomorrow, fleeting
as the wind sweeps away the dust from the garbage dump.
WHAT WE NEED IS A PEOPLE WHO WILL BE LED TO HUMBLE
REPENTANCE BEFORE THEIR GOD. WE NEED A LEADER WHO WILL LEAD THE
PEOPLE BACK TO THEIR GOD AND TO LIVING BY HIS EVERY WORD!
There is no leader in the USA who can so lead the people.
Some religious folk thought is was Bush senior who would so lead
the people. They were wrong! Then many thought Bill Clinton (who
went to church on Sunday and carried a Bible) was God's man! They
were wrong! So many thought God's man was Bush junior, though it
seemed God was not quite sure, so Florida had to have a recount
and even then it had to go to the Supreme Court, to figure who
God had chosen (I speak with tongue in cheek). Bush junior would
lead the people under God, so the religious population thought.
They were wrong! Holy wars ain't so holy - well over 4 thousand
USA soldiers dead and it's not over, now it seems it's back to
Afghanistan. And remember many dozens of soldiers have died from
countries like Canada and Britain also in fighting this holy war.
God is NOT IN these elections. He is not in the election of
November 4th 2008.
The way of sin and evil in the nations of Israel will not be
reversed (oh I wish it could be). The nations of Israel are more
and more calling good "evil" and evil "good"! Our decline in
morals and anything spiritually sound is, picking up speed with
each passing month and year.
But YOU as an individual can jump on God's bandwagon. Have
Him and His way of life as YOUR personal leader. You can never
loose if you do, and you will further more be on the winning team
when Jesus comes back to earth to be the Lord of lords and King
of kings.
