Our Right to Life!

Death produced Death!

                             OUR RIGHT TO LIFE
by Holly Mills
I believe today we are witnessing a great decline in the
value of life. Those who do not have a perceived value to society
are becoming very vulnerable. This became apparent to me recently
when my friend's 92 year old mother was in the hospital with
pneumonia. While she was in the hospital she picked up an ecoli
infection and was struggling to fight off both infections. At one
point the young doctor that was treating her said to her daughter
that as she did not seem to be getting better maybe they should
just stop all treatment. I was amazed when I heard this, as she
had been responding to the treatment for pneumonia and her
biggest problem was that she was weak and not eating. It was
almost as if because she was not responding to his timetable and
as she was 92 that they should just give up on her. Her daughters
did not agree with him and they ended up bringing in a spe-
cialist who thought that because she had been strong enough to
fight the infections she deserved the right for them to keep
trying. At the time of the writing of this article she is doing
much better. She had a feeding tube inserted and is now sitting
up and eating more as well.
Where are we heading in our value of life? Who has a right
to life and who does not? More and more it appears as if the weak
and vulnerable do not have the same rights as others. The
attitude is that if a person does not have a "quality of life"
that their life is not worth living. Of course, in today's world.
God is not involved in any of these decisions and our right to
life is in the hands of people who can abuse that power. We are
heading down a very dark road, as we struggle to deal with all
the problems coming our way. Food shortages, lack of water,
epidemics and financial burdens will all put pressure on us to
make decisions regarding our lives. Will our decisions be for
life or will we choose death? I believe all too often we will
choose death. Jeremiah spoke of this in chapter 8:3 "And death
shall be chosen rather than life by all residue of them that
remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places
whither I have driven them, saith the Lord of hosts." We are a
backslidden people and we have listened to leaders who do not
"fear the Lord". Judgment is upon us.
One only has to look at a new born baby to wonder at this
gift of life. Even the most hardened heart can soften when they
hold a baby in their arms, yet we have killed millions of
innocent unborn babies over the years. They are so often looked
upon as a burden rather than a blessing and because they are a
burden or inconvenient they can easily be disposed of!! What kind
of a world are we creating? It is certainly not the Kingdom of
God, and as we continually strive to take complete control over
all aspects of life and death we will fall deeper and deeper into
chaos. This is our world that we are creating and it is not of
God. God's world is a world of life. We are creating a world of
death through abortion, disease, immorality, violence, etc. which
is Satan's world. Life is losing its value.
We are mocking God's marvellous gift of life. Everything
that we do is from an earthly concept and we no longer look at
life from a heavenly view. We appear to suffer no consequences
for our actions. The trouble is that we are extremely lost and
don't even know it! In the end though, we will get what we
deserve. God has not forgotten His Israel people and He will do
whatever it takes to bring us back to Him. It is He that gives us
our life. "Enter ye in at the strait gate for wide is the gate,
and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many there
be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is
the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
(Matt.7:14).
Jesus is our life. He is our true gift of life. Without Him
we are dead. We may live physically but spiritually we are dead.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6).
God created us and has given us a right to life. "And the
Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
(Gen. 2:7). He alone has the right to say when we die, through
the natural progression of our life. Not because we are useless
or have no value but because it is time for our rest.
Our work on earth is finished and we are waiting for the
Resurrection and to continue our work in God's Kingdom on earth.
We must believe in the Lord and know that He is the one that
gives us our right to life. The time is coming soon when He will
either call us from the grave in the Resurrection or call us to
meet Him in the air as we escort Him to earth to live with us in
His Kingdom on earth. Oh what a great day that will be!
"Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from
the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth
forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by
myself," (Isa. 44:24).
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he
that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And
whosoever liveth, and believeth in me shall never die. Believest
thou this?" John 11:25).

NOTE:
Today we hardly ever hear about all the killing in abortion that
is going on every day in our countries of Israel and other
Gentile nations also.
The world it seems likes to kill. The world will face its
punishment one day. God will not hold back forever; now He is so
more can come to REPENTANCE and the truth of Salvation and the
Kingdom of God. But the time will come when all this is written
in the prophets of the Word of God will come to pass. The world
will meets its punishment, what we have and are sowing we shall
indeed reap. The nations of Israel and the people of Judah, will
first be punished, then the rest of the world will soon find its
punishment as the "great day of His wrath" comes on the world.
The book of Revelation will be fulfilled.
The good news is that beyond all the punishment to come for all
nations, Jesus will RETURN, in POWER and GLORY; the saints of all
ages will be RESURRECTED to LIFE; those saints living will be
CHANGED; and Christ will come to WIN the final battle of
Armageddon. The Kingdom of God will be established on this earth.
The age to come will be here!
The good news of that age, the coming of Christ, the immortality
of the saints, is all fully expounded in detail to you on this
Website in many studies.
The day will come when the knowledge of the Lord shall cover the
earth as the waters cover the sea beds. Then LIFE will be
honored! Then there will be no more choosing of abortion. Then
the children will grow and be as the trees for long life. Then
the lion and the lamb shall be together and a child shall play
alongside them.
Then there will be LIFE and life more ABUNDANTLY!!
May that age soon come Father, may it soon come!
