Israel's Plans to Rebuild the Temple
Isaiah wrote, "And it shall come to pass in the last days,
that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the
top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and
all nations shall flow unto it" (Isaiah 2:2). The prophet John
prophesied that the angel transported him forward through time
into the last days to measure the future third Temple that will
exist during the final seven-year Tribulation period. "And there
was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,
Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that
worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave
out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and
the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months"
(Revelation 11:1-2).
(I have expounded the truth of the matter about this section of
the book of Revelation in The New Testament Bible Story, under
the book of Revelation. It is a shame that fundamental prophets
do not study the old Bible Commentaries written by their old
fundamental writers of yesterday, like ALBERT BARNES (Barnes'
Notes of the New Testament) IF THEY DID THEY MIGHT COME TO SEE
THE LIGHT! I will refer the reader to the full writing of Albert
Barnes in regards to this section of Revelation, or to my NT
Bible Story where I quote Barnes at length. This section of
Revelation is very symbolic and has nothing to do with a
"literal" Temple in Jerusalem - Keith Hunt)
Numerous prophecies describe the rebuilding of the Temple in
the last days. The apostle Paul confirmed that the Antichrist
will occupy the future Temple. "Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is
called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in
the temple of God, showing himself that he is God" (2
Thessalonians 2:3-4).
(Once more I refer the reader to many studies under "prophecy'
and "end times" on this Website. The prophecy of 2 Thessalonians
2 is dealt with in full and in-depth expounding. Again, a study
on the phrase "temple" as used by Paul in all his writings,
PROVES [the Bible interpreting the Bible] that Paul DID NOT have
in mind here in 2 Thessalonians anything to do with a literal
physical Temple in Jerusalem - Keith Hunt)
Daniel described the final cleansing of the third Temple
(defiled by the Antichrist during the Tribulation) by the
Messiah: "Then shall the sanctuary be cleansed" (Daniel 8:14).
(This chapter of Daniel is also fully expounded in studies under
"prophecy" and "end times" on this Website. But I will here give
you again the high-lights.
First: yes this is a prophecy for the end time.
Second: the time of 2,300 "days" is understood [as the margin in
most KJV Bibles will give you - evening and morning - literally
them 1,150 days in actuality, which is 3 years {360 days to a
year} 5 months and 20 days - just 10 days short of 42 months, as
in the book of Revelation].
Third: The word "sacrifice" IS NOT IN THE HEBREW! The Hebrew does
have a word for "sacrifice" and is used a few times in Daniel,
but it is purposely NOT in this section of Daniel. Something "daily"
will be stopped, but it is NOT animal sacrificing!
Now, the word "sanctuary" in verse 11 is #4720 in Strong's
Concordance. It is used in Ex.15:17, where the ENTIRE Holy Land
is God's sanctuary. The same word is used in Daniel 9:17 where
the CITY of Jerusalem is God's "sanctuary." The word basically
means "holy place."
I now refer you to Matthew 24:15 where Jesus said the "holy
place" will be made desolate. And in Luke 21:20 we are given the
interpretation - the CITY of Jerusalem will be made desolate by
armies that will surround it.
Do you see how the Bible INTERPRETS itself! So simple when you
put Scripture with Scripture and leave out man made ideas and
theories.
The word for "sanctuary" in Daniel 8:13 and 14 is # 6944 in
Strong's Concordance. It has no fancy meaning per se or is not
directly connected with anything to do with animal sacrifices in
some physical Temple. Strong gives the meaning as: "...from
6942; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstr. sanctity:-
consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing),
holiness, (x most) holt (x day, portion, thing), saint,
sanctuary." The word #6942 is given by Strong to mean: "a prime
root; to be (causat, make, pronounce or observe as clean
(ceremonially or morally):- appoint, bid, consecrate, dedicate,
defile, hallow, (be, keep) holy (-er, place), keep, prepare,
proclaim, purify, sanctify (-eid one, self), x wholly."
As you connect this with Matthew 24:15 and Luke 21:20, you will
see that it is the "holy place" of Jerusalem and all the "holy
land" that will become desolate, or made desolate by the end time
Beast power of Europe, the last resurrection of the Holy Roman
Empire, which will have the woman whore [Babylon Mystery
religion} riding her as we see in Revelation 17. See also Daniel
11:40 to 12:13 where this end-time King of the North comes into
the holy mountain - holy land - between the seas [Dead sea and
Mediterranean sea). Then the tribulation such as never before is
started, and to which is connected the resurrection of the dead
[at the end of this 42 month period when Jesus will return]. It
is a time, times, and half a time - 1260 days or 42 months of the
book of Revelation. The power of the holy people will be
scattered, not raptured off to heaven, but scattered in the
wilderness as shown in Revelation 12. It is the time when
knowledge shall be increased and people will run to and fro.
Daniel adds from 1260 to 1335 days, he adds an extra 75 days.
Daniel is given an extra 75 days added to 1260 days, just about 2
extra months, before he "stands in thy lot at the end of the
days." The resurrection does not take place until at least 1335
days AFTER the desolation of the people of God, together with
Jerusalem and the holy land - Keith Hunt)
The prophet Ezekiel described his vision of the final and
fourth Temple of the coming Messiah that will be cleansed and
cared for by ministering Levites and priests worshipping God in
the millennial kingdom (Ezekiel 41:1).
(No, Ezekiel's vision is the building of the THIRD Temple, NOT
the fourth. The truth of all these prophecies is fully and deeply

Oil of Anointing
One of the most unusual aspects of the ancient Tabernacle
and Temple worship service was the sacred "oil of anointing" that
disappeared almost two thousand years ago. This sacred oil was
prepared by the priests using five specific ingredients to anoint
the Temple, the ark of the covenant, and the high priest. The
kings of Israel, including King David and Solomon, were
anointed with this oil. Moses initially described God's sacred
commandment to Israel as follows: "And thou shalt make it an oil
of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the
apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil. And thou shalt
anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark
of the testimony" (Exodus 30:25-26). The rare and precious plant
known as "afars'mon" was one of the five ingredients mentioned in
the book of Exodus that was required to prepare the sacred oil
for the Tabernacle or Temple service. This valuable ingredient
was lost, seemingly forever, almost two thousand years ago when
Jerusalem was destroyed. When the Roman legions destroyed the
Jewish Temple, the escaping Jewish rebels burned the only two
surviving groves in Jericho and Ein Gedi where these very rare
"afars'mon" trees grew. The Jewish sages taught that the Jews
could never reinstitute the Temple services without this special
oil of anointing because they had lost forever the missing
ingredient of "afars'mon."
One of Daniel's most significant prophecies was that the
coming Messiah would be anointed with this special oil of
anointing. It is significant that the title "Messiah" and
"Christ" mean "anointed." Daniel wrote: "Seventy weeks are
determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting
righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to
anoint the most Holy" (Daniel 9:24). While Jesus was never
anointed with this sacred oil during His First Coming, He will
finally be anointed when He returns as Israel's acknowledged King
at His Second Coming.
The official ancient Jewish tradition tells us that the
Temple treasures including the "oil of anointing" were lost
forever. How could these sacred prophecies about the rebuilding
of the Temple and the anointing of the Messiah be fulfilled when
some of the key ingredients were missing?
(Jesus, as Jeffrey said, was not anointed with this oil at His
first coming. It will NOT be needed to anoint Him at His second
coming. The "sanction" by the Father is ALL that is required. And
as Jesus is God, a member of the very Godhead, no physical oil
anointing is require for Him to take His place as King of kings
and Lord or lords. It is utterly ridiculous, redundant,
tautological, pleonastic, to think Jesus needs to be anointed
with any physical oil, to take His position as ruler of the earth

The ancient Copper Scroll, part of the Dead Sea Scrolls,
discovered in 1995, actually describes over sixty separate
locations where the ancient Temple priests and Essenes hid the
precious treasures of the second Temple before the Roman
legions burned the sacred building to the ground. Following a
careful search based upon the detailed descriptions in the Copper
Scroll regarding one particular burial place, a group of
Christian researchers found an ancient clay flask. Incredibly,
archaeologists associated with the Israel Museum in Jerusalem
declared that this ancient clay flask buried near the Dead Sea
caves was actually filled with the ancient oil of anointing.
Chinese scholars who specialized in the chemical composition of
ancient oils verified the age of the oil and its composition
based on Carbon 14 dating techniques. Scientists confirmed that
the oil in the flask was approximately two thousand years old and
is composed of the five precise ingredients described in Exodus
30:25-26. It is remarkable that the Jews now have the oil of
anointing they would need to purify the third Temple and resume
worship there. In addition, the oil of anointing is now available
to anoint "the most Holy," the Messiah Jesus when He returns as
King of kings and "God's Anointed."
(All of this is very questionable as to its truth. Many lies by
fundamental prophets over the years, have made me question just
about anything they say regarding this supposed rebuilt Temple by
the Jews to re-instate animal sacrifices. There appeared in a
religious magazine in the early 1980s a supposed truth that the
stones for the Temple were at a certain "shipping dock" in the
USA, ready to be put on a ship sailing for the Holy Land. The
stones were going for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in
Jerusalem. The story turned out to be a pack of lies, there never
were any stones, at any shipping dock, anywhere in the USA, for a
building of some Temple in Jerusalem.
Even if this "special" oil has been found, it will have no
bearing on anything, for Bible prophecy does not foretell the
rebuilding of any physical Temple by Jews in the last years of
this age. And Jesus sure does not need to be anointed with any
physical oil to take rulership of this earth. The whole
fundamental scenario is "Alice in wonderland" imagination, that
has no bearing in Biblical prophetic passages anywhere - Keith

Implements Required For Temple Worship
The Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem has
recently prepared over eighty-five sacred Temple worship objects
described in the Torah, including sacred vessels and linen
priestly garments for the Kohanim priests that will be required
for future Temple services. Several Orthodox yeshivas (Jewish
Bible colleges) in Jerusalem have trained more than five hundred
young Jewish men, descended from the tribe of Levi, to fulfil
their future duties of Temple worship services. Many of these
Kohanim have already been trained in the Temple worship rituals
and have learned to play the restored biblical musical
instruments including the lyre and harp. An Israeli radio news
report on September 28, 1999, by Yosef Zalmanson, a reporter for
Arut-7, revealed that the Temple Institute recently completed a
golden seven-branch candelabra - a menorah - according to the
strict divine instructions found in the biblical book of Exodus.
Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the leader of the Temple Institute, stated
that the menorah was constructed "for the sake of the
commandment." The menorah is six and a half feet high and was
cast with ninety-two pounds of pure gold costing over $400,000.
Rabbi Ariel stated, "It, or other menorahs, will be consecrated
when the Temple is rebuilt."
(Well how nice for Jeffrey. All this was supposed done in 1999.
Jeffrey wrote and published his book in 2001. TEN YEARS have gone
by, and have you heard anything on the news about all this, and
the close event of building a physical temple in Jerusalem. Those
trained fellows better get ready to train other younger ones, for
they will be old men before a stone is laid. I speak with tongue
in cheek. The truth is it is ONLY A SMALL RELIGIOUS JEWISH AND
CHRISTIAN SECT that claim they are going to re-build a Temple and
re-institute animal sacrifices. The Israel Government is
"secular" and MOST of the people in the land are "secular" - they
have NO INTEREST AT ALL in the wild imagination and dreams of
some little religious sect, that wants to return to Old Testament
ways, and the crazy prophecies of fundamental Christian groups
that believe Jesus CANNOT return UNTIL a physical temple with
animal sacrifices is instituted once more in Jerusalem. No wonder
these people are going to be caught off guard when the Great
Tribulation starts, when the "false prophet" of Revelation will
look like he truly does represent God and Christ, and most in the
Western world will flock to his side, and believe he will bring
peace and God's Kingdom to earth - Keith Hunt)
The Red Heifer Sacrifice
An important part of the purification ritual is the
sacrifice of the red heifer. God said through Ezekiel: "Then will
I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all
your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you"
(Ezekiel 36:25). The red heifer sacrifice is necessary to produce
the waters of purification, as described in Numbers 19. The
waters of purification are required to cleanse the Temple objects
and even the ancient stones on the Temple Mount that were
spiritually defiled through numerous bloody conquests. This
ritual cleansing is necessary to prepare for resumption of animal
sacrifices in the Third Temple according to Jewish religious law.
It is interesting to note that the Jewish groups in Israel that
are preparing for the rebuilding of the Temple are raising a
breed of pure red cattle that they hope will eventually produce
in a pure red heifer. When one is found that meets the strict
qualifications of Numbers 19, it will be sacrificed on the Mount
of Olives directly opposite the sealed Eastern Gate. Several
years ago the Jews thought they had the perfect animal, and it
was certified as such by Rabbi Reichman of the Temple Institute.
However, as often occurs with cattle, the heifer developed some
white hairs in a place where it had been bruised and was
therefore disqualified. The Temple Institute is raising cattle on
a ranch near Mount Carmel in northern Israel, hoping that they
will eventually find a perfect red heifer without any white or
black hair, "without spot, wherein there is no blemish, and upon
which never came yoke" (Numbers 19:2).

NOTE:
Are you shaking your head in disbelief to what you are reading
here from Jeffrey and those like him? You talk about making it
just about impossible for the Jews to build a Temple and re-
institute a priesthood with animal sacrifices. The Jews have
backed themselves into corner and put on a "straight-jacket."
They teach the Temple can only be built on the spot where the
Dome of the Rock now stands. They teach you have to have this
special "oil" and this special "heifer" and special this and
that. When they did have what they thought was this "special"
heifer, when, according to whoever, they were close to "going for
it" - close to running for the touch-down, what happened to the
Dome of the Rock? IT STILL STOOD THERE!! They teach its the only
place they can build the Temple. So it was very convenient that
the red heifer developed white hairs and was thus disqualified.
The whole thing about a physical temple, animal sacrifices,
getting rid of the Dome of the Rock, is so fanciful and such a
way out teaching, it surely must come from planet Pluto, which
scientists say now is no planet at all.
If the Jews decided to forget about building it on the site of
the Dome of the Rock, and built it somewhere else, and they did
claim they had the perfect red heifer. If they did manage to
start a Temple and animal sacrifices, doing all as under the laws
of Moses. DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY ANIMALS WOULD BE KILLED IN ONE
MONTH, LET ALONE ONE YEAR? THE ANIMAL RIGHTS PEOPLE WOULD BE
THERE IN A SPLIT SECOND AND WOULD DEMAND SUCH NONSENSE BE
STOPPED. THEY WOULD PROBABLY BURN DOWN THE BUILDING. IF THEY DID
NOT DO IT SOME ARABS WOULD JUST FOR KICKS.
THIS SILLY TEACHING HAS BEEN AROUND IN THE FUNDAMENTAL CHURCH
WORLD FOR AT LEAST 50 YEARS. IT SEEMS THEY ARE SO BRAIN-WASHED
WITH IT THEY JUST CANNOT OPEN THE BIBLE AND SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH
OF THE MATTER. WELL THEY MAYBE WILL NOT, BUT YOU FRIEND, CAN FIND
THE TRUTH, AND IT IS ALL CONTAINED THE IN-DEPTH PROPHETIC STUDIES ON
THIS WEBSITE.
