Russia’s Ethnic Cleansing of Germans and the Ongoing Occupation of East Prussia<\/strong><\/h4>\n

For over a thousand years, German influence dominated East Prussia<\/strong>. From its conquest by the Teutonic Order<\/strong> in the 13th century to its role as a key German province<\/strong>, it was home to some of Germany\u2019s most important cities and cultural landmarks. K\u00f6nigsberg, the capital of East Prussia, was the coronation site of Prussian kings, a center of learning, and the birthplace of German philosophy.<\/strong> The region remained overwhelmingly German-speaking for over 700 years<\/strong>, with 90% of its population identifying as German<\/strong> up until the 1940s.<\/p>\n

But today, that history has been erased. East Prussia no longer exists on the map.<\/strong> In its place stands Kaliningrad<\/strong>, a Russian exclave, thousands of miles from Moscow, forcibly detached from its true German identity through mass ethnic cleansing.If Russia\u2019s claim in Ukraine is about “denazification,” why did they eliminate an entire ethnic German population from their own occupied lands?<\/strong> The answer exposes Russia\u2019s deeper strategy: the elimination of historic legitimacy for any power that opposes its imperial ambitions.<\/p>\n

This article expands on the themes discussed in “The Hidden Russian Agenda: Germany and Ukraine Under Covert Occupation Threat”<\/strong> (link<\/a>), where we outlined Russia\u2019s long-term strategy of using “Nazism” as a pretext for influence, occupation, and control<\/strong>. That same method was first used against Germans\u2014particularly in East Prussia. Today, it is being used to justify the war in Ukraine, and tomorrow, it may be used again to reclaim even more of Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n
