and Roman Mithra feasts.<br data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1340\" \/>Yes \u2014 some even claim it was tied to Nimrod.<br data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1387\" \/>We do not need to deny this \u2014 <strong data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1469\">because the Bible gives us the interpretive key.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1575\">Pagans did not invent the symbols \u2014<br data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1509\" \/><strong data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1575\">they reacted to the sermon of creation without the Scriptures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"2037\" \/>the rebirth of the sun\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2062\" data-end=\"2091\">\u2014 all these were <strong data-start=\"2079\" data-end=\"2091\">shadows.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2093\" data-end=\"2213\">\n<p data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2213\">\u201cFor the feasts are a <strong data-start=\"2117\" data-end=\"2127\">shadow<\/strong> of things to come,<br data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2149\" \/>but the <strong data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2172\">substance<\/strong> is Christ.\u201d<br
