This truth has been a source of\r\nsuch great mystery that it has both puzzled the minds and engaged\r\nthe interest of men to such an extent that many of them who are\r\nthe intellectual peers of the world have bent their best energies\r\nto the work of hunting for this lost nation.\r\n     Thus, for many years, devout minds have been investigating\r\nsecular and sacred history, as well as sacred prophecy, which\r\nmust have become, or which must yet become, history. These men\r\nhave carefully traced, not only the perfectly connected outlines,\r\nbut also the details of history. Hence they confidently assert\r\nthere are no missing links in the chain of racial and national\r\nevents.\r\n     A large per cent of the men who have been thus engaged are\r\neminent in religious, historic and scientific research. Men who\r\nhave called to their aid chronology, astronomy, archeology,\r\nethnology, pyramidology and philology. Indeed, they have used any\r\nand every science that could throw any possible light upon this\r\nsubject; for they have been irrepressible in their search after\r\nfacts, and are men who purpose, for the truth's  sake, that the\r\nWord of God shall be forced to stand every test, be it ever so\r\ncrucial, that its own internal matter demands.\r\n     It is the consensus of opinion among this class of men, the\r\nnumber of whom is increasing daily, that the once-lost ten tribes\r\nof Israel are found. Be they right or wrong, we are sure of this\r\none thing - namely, that there is a race of people here amidst\r\nother races, who do not know their ancestral origin, and who\r\npossess all the distinguishing marks whereby the Scriptures\r\ndeclare the lost house of Joseph shall be found and recognized,\r\nnot only by themselves, but by the rest of the nations of the\r\nearth.\r\n\r\n     Still, be this as it may, there is nothing for us to do now\r\nbut to take up the thread of our story, which is a \"scarlet\" one\r\nand pertains to those members of the royal family whom we left on\r\nthe throne of Israel, and who were holding the sceptre of David\r\nde facto, instead of the one to whom it belongs de jure, and to\r\nwhom the Lord will give \"it,\" and not the Sceptre which belongs\r\nto some other royal family, race or kingdom.\r\n     While dealing with the breach which occurred in the royal\r\nfamily - which had been prophesied of, not only in the words\r\nwhich were uttered by the midwife, but by the peculiar manner of\r\nthe birth of the Judo-Tamar twins, which also had been used as a\r\nprophetic type or symbol - we said nothing about the three\r\noverturns which are a part of Ezekiel's prophecy concerning some\r\nof the chief details of this same breach.\r\n     One reason for this omission was that we could not give the\r\nproof concerning the location of that \"goodly land\" to which the\r\nroyal branches, i. e., Judah's prince and David's princess, were\r\ncarried, and in which they were \"set,\" without making many points\r\nin proof of the present whereabouts of the still preserved seed,\r\nand the perpetuated Crown, Throne and Sceptre of David. For it\r\nwas not our desire to give any such proof until we should first\r\nprove that the building and planting which Jeremiah's commission\r\ninvolved, had been accomplished, and that the transfer of the\r\ncrown had been made, that the high branch had been dethroned, and\r\nthat another branch--one equally high by birth, but \"low,\" only\r\nin the sense of non-ruling, and because of the law of\r\nprimogeniture - had been exalted by being enthroned.\r\n     Now, since we have shown that the Word of God emphatically\r\ndeclares these things to have been accomplished, we are prepared\r\nto show that the three prophetic overturns took place, and that\r\nthey took place in connection with these same royal ones,\r\ntogether with their succession, whom we have followed to a new\r\ncountry.\r\n     It is not possible to follow the history of these overturns,\r\nnor to follow further the history of that branch of the royal\r\nfamily which came into power when the breach was made, and to do\r\nso independent of lost Israel; for it was to Israel that Jeremiah\r\nfled with the \"king's daughters\" - the same people with whom the\r\nroyal line of Zarah had been for more than a century prior to the\r\ntime when Jeremiah joined them, and since that time, nationally\r\nspeaking, the fortunes and history of the Sceptre and Birthright\r\nhave become one. We must remember that the place where this\r\nprince and princess were planted was in the \"Height of Israel\";\r\nthat it was all the trees in the field of Israel that were to\r\nknow the low tree had been exalted; that it was Israel, the dry\r\ntree, which is made to flourish, and that has been dry hitherto\r\nfor lack of royal honors and royal blood, but now that a prince\r\nand princess of the blood are on the throne, the once dry tree\r\ndoth flourish, but the former green tree, the Jewish kingdom -\r\nnot the nation - is dried up.\r\n     We must remember that Israel is the ten-tribed nation, the\r\nBirthright people, whose ancient capital was Samaria, whose\r\nrepresentative name is Ephraim, the second son of Joseph, to whom\r\npertains the birthright; and that his two sons, Ephraim and\r\nManasseh, were to \"grow into a multitude in the midst of the\r\nearth,\" that they were finally to separate, Manasseh to become a\r\n\"great nation,\" and Ephraim to develop into many nations, a\r\nmultitude of nations, or a company of nations, as it is variously\r\ngiven.\r\n     The first of these overturns is the one whose history we\r\nhave essentially given while dealing with the preservation of\r\nKing Zedekiah's daughters, and is the overturn of the kingdom\r\nfrom Palestine to that goodly land, by the side of great waters,\r\nwhere it took root, grew, flourished and became a spreading vine.\r\nA ripple of holy joy went pulsing through our heart when we found\r\nthat the prophet had, in his riddle, used the expression,\r\n\"spreading vine\" in connection with Israel. The Hebrew word,\r\nsawrakh--spreading, as here used, is defined in Strong's\r\nExhaustive Concordance, \"to extend, to spread, to stretch\r\nexceedingly, to extend even to excess.\" Thus this new country,\r\nthis strange and unknown land, in which the royal remnant found\r\nthe cast-out people of Israel, is the place from which it is\r\ndeclared that they shall spread out, that they shall exceedingly\r\nextend their borders and so fulfill their national destiny.\r\nHow perfectly this harmonizes with the promises concerning the\r\n\"place\" which the Lord made to David in connection with the\r\npromises concerning the perpetuity of his seed, throne and\r\nsceptre, and which was given at the same time, as follows:\r\n\"Moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will\r\nplant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move\r\nno more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them\r\nany more, as beforetime.\"\r\n\r\n(The verse just mentioned is VERY IMPORTANT, FOR IT TELLS US THAT\r\nWHEN ISRAEL WAS DWELLING IN PALESTINE OR THE HOLY LAND, GOD HAD\r\nALREADY PLANNED THAT THEY WOULD BE MOVED, TO ANOTHER LAND, TO THE\r\nVERY END TIME. This verse is in 2 Samuel 7:10 and is with the\r\ncontext of God promising David that his throne would be forever -\r\nKeith Hunt)\r\n\r\n     At this juncture we feel impelled, for fear you will not\r\nthink it out for yourselves, to point out the fact that the Lord\r\nhad cast Israel out of her land, and cast her afar off; and while\r\ngoing to that far-off land she was to be \"sifted through the\r\nnations as corn is sifted in a sieve\"; but after they have\r\nreached their far-off destination, their God-appointed place,\r\nthen they are to move no more. For it is in reference to this\r\nsame casting out of the Ephraimic nation that Hosea declares:\r\n\"The children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and\r\nwithout a prince.\" But now, with this prophetic riddle fulfilled,\r\ntheir king is with them, and the monarchy of Israel is\r\nflourishing as a green, or living, tree.\r\n     Our next effort will be to find this far-off land, whose\r\nhistory has been one of spreading out - yea, spreading out\r\nexceedingly, even excessively.\r\n\r\n     The very fact that the Jews have a record of the birth, call\r\nand commission of Jeremiah, and the history of the execution of\r\nthe first part of his commission, i. e., the tearing down,\r\nrooting out and plucking up of the house and throne of David -\r\nthis, considered in the light of the fact that they can give no\r\naccount of him after his sudden disappearance from among them, is\r\nevidence that he neither died nor completed his God-ordained task\r\namong them. And all the civilized races of the world know that he\r\ndid not build that seat of power, nor plant those royal scions\r\namong the Jews.\r\n     But since we find it on record that Jeremiah's work has been\r\naccomplished, we know that it must have been he who did it; even\r\nif his name is not mentioned in the Scriptural account of the\r\ndoing of it. For God would not permit some other man to do that\r\nwork, after having sanctified Jeremiah before he was born, and\r\nbrought him into the world for that purpose. We must bear in mind\r\nthe fact that the sacred account of the building and planting is\r\nin the form of a riddle or parable, and that metaphors instead of\r\nnames are used for those concerned; the high and the low, the\r\nenthroned and the de-throned, the young twigs and the tender\r\ntwigs, the planted and the planter. But we must remember also\r\nthat the name of \"Israel,\" the special national name of the\r\nten-tribed kingdom, is mentioned as the receiver of the planted\r\nand enthroned pair. And since the historic testimony declares\r\nJeremiah's work to have been accomplished in Israel, it is only\r\nin Israel that we may hope to find evidences of that fact.\r\n\r\n     This necessitates the finding of Joseph-Israel, and they\r\nshall be found, for God says they shall; and when they are found,\r\nmanifestly, there must be found with them a branch of the\r\nJudo-Davidic family, who are their sovereigns.\r\n     Since the East is left in such utter darkness, not only as\r\nto the fate of Jeremiah and his little Royal Remnant, but also as\r\nto the destination of \"the dispersed\" ten tribes, who had been\r\nlost, even to the Jews, so long before Christ came, that some of\r\nthem thought that no person except the Messiah could go to them,\r\nor might even know where to find them, we must look elsewhere.\r\nAlso, because of their lack of historic data concerning the\r\ncompletion of Jeremiah's work, and because his disappearance was\r\nalmost as marvelous as was the translation of Elijah, they were\r\nready to say that the Christ was Jeremiah. (Matt.16:14.) Their\r\nthought was, no doubt, that Jeremiah, like Elijah, was still\r\nalive, and that God would yet use him in connection with the\r\nbuilding and planting anew, or the restoration of the kingdom\r\namong them, to which they looked forward with great anticipation\r\nand hope.\r\n\r\n     But, as we were saying, since there is no light in the East\r\nconcerning these matters, let us scan the pages of prophecy to\r\nsee if there are any straws which point West. And since it is\r\nsaid of straws that they show which way the wind blows, it will\r\nbe well for us to know that Hosea gives a prophecy concerning\r\nEphraim, in which he declares: \"Ephraim, followeth after an East\r\nwind.\" As an East wind is one which blows from the East and\r\ntravels to the West, this makes it certain that Ephraim did not\r\ntravel Eastward. For had he gone in an Easterly direction, he\r\nmust needs have gone facing an East wind; then he surely went\r\nWEST. And since he was \"cast afar off,\" he must be in the far-off\r\nWest.\r\n     When Jehovah confirmed his promise to David concerning the\r\nperpetuity of his kingdom, throne, sceptre and house, and took\r\noath by his holiness that he would not lie to him, he said: \"I\r\nwill set his hand (sceptre) in the sea.\" The clues which the\r\nprophet Ezekiel gives in his riddle, as to the location of Israel\r\nand the royal pair, are, that it is \"a land of traffic,\" that it\r\nhas \"good soil\" and that it \"brings forth branches\"; that is,\r\nthat it is fruitful and populous. We are told it has a \"city of\r\nmerchants,\" that \"fowl of every wing dwell under the shadow of\r\nits branches,\" i. e., mixed, or various people dwell under the\r\nprotection of its rulers; and that its location is by \"great\r\nwaters,\" which, for reasons that will become more and more\r\napparent as we proceed, we affirm to be the Atlantic Ocean. For\r\nthe Lord gives a message to Ephraim through Jeremiah, saying: \"I\r\nam a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first born. Hear the\r\nword of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar\r\noff, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him.\" In this\r\ndeclaration we find that the far-off home of Ephraim-Israel is\r\nin, not an island, but \"the isles,\" i. e., a group of islands.\r\nThus Ephraim, also, is located in the sea, in the isles afar off.\r\nThe prophet Isaiah, in the forty-ninth chapter, addresses these\r\nsame people, saying: \"Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye\r\npeople from afar. * * * Thou art my servant, 0 Israel, in whom I\r\nwill (still in the future) be glorified.\" And when speaking, in\r\nthe twelfth verse of this same chapter concerning the future\r\nreturn of this same people to Palestine, their former home, at\r\nwhich time he will be more fully glorified in them, the Lord\r\ncauses the prophet to make proclamation: \"Behold, these shall\r\ncome from far off, and lo, these from the north and from the\r\nwest.\"\r\n     In the Hebrew there is no compound word for north-west as we\r\nuse it; hence the expression north and west. There is a group of\r\nisles out in these \"great waters,\" which are just as directly\r\nnorth-west from Palestine as the lines of latitude and longitude\r\ncan lay them, namely, the British Isles. And we may just as well\r\njump into the midst of our proofs at once, since that is the\r\nplace where Ephraim-Israel shall chiefly be found. If not there,\r\nit is because they have \"spread out,\" from these VERY ISLES, for\r\nit is a well authenticated fact that Jeremiah went to Ireland,\r\nwhere he died, and that his grave is one of the well-known and\r\nproudly-named spots of that country, whose history is one of the\r\nmysteries of the world.\r\n     It is a well-known fact that the history of no country on\r\nthe face of the earth has so puzzled historians as that of\r\nIreland. There is both a sacred and secular reason for this. The\r\nsecular reason is that Ireland steps into the arena of history\r\nwith a monarchical kingdom running in full blast, and men do not\r\nknow how it got there. The sacred reason is because God has\r\nissued a mandate, saying: \"KEEP SILENCE before me, O islands, and\r\nlet the people renew their strength.\" (Isa.41:1.)\r\n\r\n     In the next verse the Lord asks the question: \"Who raised up\r\nthe righteous man from the EAST?\" Then in the fourth verse he\r\nanswers his own question, saying, \"I the Lord, the first, and the\r\nlast; I am he,\" and in the eighth verse of the same chapter,\r\nstill addressing the dwellers in the isles, he says: \"Thou art\r\nIsrael, my servant Jacob, whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham\r\nmy friend. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth.\" \r\ni. e., literally, from the rising of the sun, from the beginning,\r\nor from the East.\r\n     This statement, coming from such high authority, forever\r\nsettles the question as to the origin of the peoples who dwell in\r\nthose far-off northwest isles.\r\n\r\n\r\n     We have read many authors on the subject of the Hebrews in\r\nIreland, who claim to have searched carefully and critically\r\nthrough all available chronicles, records and histories and they\r\nall agree that a perusal of these various authorities is not only\r\nheavy reading, but that they are very obtuse, and that they are\r\nactually confusing, bewildering and tormenting to all who do not\r\ntake the word of God as an ally in the work of unraveling their\r\nmysteries; for, all of these authorities do agree in stating the\r\nfollowing facts:\r\n\r\n1. About 585 B.C. a \"notable man,\" an \"important personage,\" a\r\npatriarch, a saint, an essentially important someone, according\r\nto their various ways of putting it, came to Ulster, the most\r\nnorthern province of Ireland, accompanied by a princess, the\r\ndaughter of an eastern king, and that in company with them was\r\none Simon Brach, Breck, Brack, Barech, Berach, as it is\r\ndifferently spelled; and that this royal party brought with them\r\nmany remarkable things. Among these was the harp, an ark and the\r\nwonderful stone called Liafail, or stone of destiny, of which we\r\nshall have much to say hereafter.\r\n\r\n2. This eastern princess was married to King Herremon on\r\ncondition, made by this notable patriarch, that he should abandon\r\nhis former religion, and build a college for the prophets. This\r\nHerremon did, and the name of the school was Mur-Ollam, which is\r\nthe name, both in Hebrew and Irish, for school of the prophets.\r\nHe also changed the name of his capital city, Lothair - sometimes\r\nspelled Cothair Croffin - to that of Tara.\r\n\r\n3. The name of this Eastern princess is given as Tea-Tephi, and\r\nit is a well-known fact that the royal arms of Ireland is the\r\nharp of David, and has been for two thousand and five hundred\r\nyears.\r\n\r\n     Ezekiel in his riddle, when speaking of the coming of the\r\nfemale passenger who came to that land in the second vessel, whom\r\nhe afterwards proves to be a princess, speaks of \"the furrows of\r\nher plantation.\" It is a truth, and, to us, a marvelous one, that\r\nthe province of Ulster used to be called the \"Plantation of\r\nUlster,\" as any one may know if they will take the trouble to\r\nconsult \"Chamber's Encyclopedia\" on the word \"Ulster.\"\r\n     Further, the crown which was worn by the sovereigns of that\r\nhitherto unaccounted-for kingdom in Ireland had twelve points.\r\nWho shall say that \"the king's daughter\" was not planted there;\r\nand that the first of the three of Ezekiel's prophetic overturns\r\nwas not from Palestine to Erin?\r\n\r\n(A classic True Israel (British Israelism) book on the Celto-Saxon people's of God. \r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/watchman.news\/nl\/2021\/12\/judahs-sceptre-and-josephs-birthright-pt1\/\">download the full version of Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright - for free<\/a>)<\/pre>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JUDAH&#8217;S SCEPTRE AND JOSEPH&#8217;S BIRTHRIGHT #19 by Allen (1917) LOST ISRAEL AND THE FIRST OVERTURN LOCATED The fact that a great nation, composed of ten tribes of the posterity of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is lost, or unidentified, among the nations of the world is well known to enlightened students of the Old Testament.
