Although the Scriptures do afford the church to have local sites to do Pilgrimages to visit, still Jerusalem in Israel held an important place in their hearts, long after the destruction of the Temple. This led to the Crusades later as Christians would get killed on the routes to these commanded festival observances. The Eastern orthodox cried out for help from the farthest West Orthodox.<\/p>\r\n

Er lijkt geen enkel bewijs te zijn van enige doctrines die door Marcus zijn overgenomen. Maar in de Didascalia, die zelfs tijdens het hoogtepunt van de vervolging weergalmde, is het duidelijk dat onder de dagelijkse diensten de sabbat altijd een hoge plaats innam. Misschien is de lijn van Culdees van Saint John beter, aangezien zijn opvolgers (zoals Polycarpus en Polycrates enz. Sterker vasthielden aan het Pascha, de feesten en de sabbatten.
