A quick message by Rev Dr Stephen MK Brunswick,

Winning and Not Deceived.

The listeners are exhorted not to be turned aside by every new wind of doctrine but to continue faithfully in the victory in Christ.  We are complete in Him, with Him above all power, principality, dominion and might.

This message is a call to discernment and spiritual grounding, warning against the growing trend of chasing sensational or unfounded theories that distract from the truth of the Gospel. It highlights how people are increasingly drawn to “every wind of doctrine,” embracing contradictory and often irrational ideas that ultimately lead nowhere. Instead of being carried away by confusion or controversy, the message urges listeners to remain rooted in Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly and revealed the true nature of God. The central point is clear: one must choose between standing firmly with Christ or being swept along with detractors who distort truth.

The message then shifts to a strong declaration of victory in Christ, emphasizing that through His work at Calvary, all powers and principalities have already been defeated and placed under His authority—and by extension, under the feet of those who are in Him. While opposition may still appear, it is portrayed as ultimately powerless and temporary, unable to overcome the established victory of Christ. Believers are reminded of their elevated identity as sons of the living God, joined in spirit with Him, and recipients of greater promises fulfilled through the “second Adam,” Jesus Christ. The closing encouragement reinforces that true blessing and provision come from remaining in Christ—the source of all good things—rather than being distracted by lesser voices.
