Many today see \u201cseparation\u201d as a bad word \u2014 as if keeping distance is unloving. But Scripture paints the opposite picture. From Genesis to Revelation, God repeatedly calls His people to be set apart \u2014 from sin, from idolatry, from false worship, from the ways of the world.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t isolation for pride\u2019s sake. It\u2019s about holiness, purity, and faithfulness to God\u2019s covenant. In fact, the command to \u201cbe separate\u201d is not a rare suggestion \u2014 it\u2019s found throughout the Bible in dozens of passages.
