Scripture Commands Repetition, Remembrance, and Continuity in Prayer<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"911\">This point alone resolves the entire debate:<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1419\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1417\">Jesus commands continual prayer that prevents fainting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1481\"><strong data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2197\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"2152\" data-end=\"2195\">The righteous pray multiple times a day<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2251\"><strong data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2215\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Psalm119%3A164\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psalm 119:164<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Israelite Prayer Life: The Foundation of Christian Prayer Life<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2484\">Many modern Christians do not realize how much Scripture and prayer Israel memorized.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2486\" data-end=\"2551\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"2492\" data-end=\"2549\">Jewish children memorize the entire Tanakh by age 10 (was all Israelites)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2552\" data-end=\"2574\">This was done through:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2576\" data-end=\"2688\">\n<li data-start=\"2576\" data-end=\"2596\">\n<p data-start=\"2578\" data-end=\"2596\">Daily recitation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2597\" data-end=\"2611\">\n<p data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2611\">Repetition<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2612\" data-end=\"2624\">\n<p data-start=\"2614\" data-end=\"2624\">Chanting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2650\">\n<p data-start=\"2627\" data-end=\"2650\">Counting prayer lines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2651\" data-end=\"2688\">\n<p data-start=\"2653\" data-end=\"2688\">Fixed morning and evening prayers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2690\" data-end=\"2756\">If children prayed this much,<br data-start=\"2719\" data-end=\"2722\" \/><strong data-start=\"2722\" data-end=\"2756\">what do you think priests did?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2758\" data-end=\"2920\">This is why Temple worship involved <strong data-start=\"2794\" data-end=\"2818\">all 150 Psalms daily<\/strong> \u2014 the origin of the later 150-knot rope, 150 Jesus Prayers, or 150 Our Fathers in both East and West.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"2968\">Christ Himself grew up in this prayer culture.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2970\" data-end=\"2973\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"2975\" data-end=\"3035\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"2981\" data-end=\"3033\">The Shema: the most repeated prayer in Scripture<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3036\" data-end=\"3106\">\u201c<strong data-start=\"3037\" data-end=\"3055\">Hear, O Israel<\/strong>, the Lord thy God is One\u2026\u201d (Deut. 6:4; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Mark12%3A29\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark 12:29<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3108\" data-end=\"3168\">Every Jew \u2014 to this day \u2014 prays it <strong data-start=\"3143\" data-end=\"3167\">at least twice daily<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3217\">Jesus called this <strong data-start=\"3188\" data-end=\"3216\">the greatest commandment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3219\" data-end=\"3330\">Thus <strong data-start=\"3224\" data-end=\"3280\">Jesus commanded a prayer that must be repeated daily<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"3281\" data-end=\"3284\" \/>Repetition is <em data-start=\"3298\" data-end=\"3312\">not optional<\/em>; it is commanded.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3332\" data-end=\"3335\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"3337\" data-end=\"3390\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"3343\" data-end=\"3388\">Biblical prayer tools: tassels with knots<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3391\" data-end=\"3408\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Numbers15%3A38-40\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Numbers 15:38\u201340<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3410\" data-end=\"3522\">\n<p data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3522\">\u201cPut fringes on the corners of your garments\u2026<br data-start=\"3457\" data-end=\"3460\" \/><strong data-start=\"3462\" data-end=\"3504\">that you may look on them and remember<\/strong> My commandments.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3524\" data-end=\"3713\">These fringes were <strong data-start=\"3543\" data-end=\"3560\">knotted cords<\/strong> meant to trigger remembrance.<br data-start=\"3590\" data-end=\"3593\" \/>The prayer rope is the <em data-start=\"3616\" data-end=\"3643\">New Covenant continuation<\/em> of this practice, centered on Christ the Word made flesh (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/John1%3A14\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John 1:14<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3715\" data-end=\"3764\">Christians didn\u2019t invent the idea.<br data-start=\"3749\" data-end=\"3752\" \/><strong data-start=\"3752\" data-end=\"3764\">God did.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3766\" data-end=\"3769\" \/>\n<h1 data-start=\"3771\" data-end=\"3830\"><strong data-start=\"3773\" data-end=\"3830\">3. Early Church Prayer: Continual, Counted, Corporate<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h3 data-start=\"3832\" data-end=\"3910\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"3838\" data-end=\"3851\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Acts2%3A46\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Acts 2:46<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 The Church prayed daily \u201cwith one accord\u201d in the Temple.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3912\" data-end=\"3968\">They didn\u2019t sit silently.<br data-start=\"3937\" data-end=\"3940\" \/>They followed the rhythm of:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"4034\">\n<li data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"3980\">\n<p data-start=\"3972\" data-end=\"3980\">\u041f\u0441\u0430\u043b\u0442\u0438\u0440<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3981\" data-end=\"3994\">\n<p data-start=\"3983\" data-end=\"3994\">Blessings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3995\" data-end=\"4014\">\n<p data-start=\"3997\" data-end=\"4014\">Hours of prayer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4015\" data-end=\"4034\">\n<p data-start=\"4017\" data-end=\"4034\">Recited worship<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4036\" data-end=\"4072\">This is Judaism fulfilled in Christ.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4074\" data-end=\"4127\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"4080\" data-end=\"4125\">Anna prayed \u201cnight and day\u201d in the Temple<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4128\" data-end=\"4142\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Luke2%3A36-37\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luke 2:36\u201337<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4144\" data-end=\"4223\">Her prayer was <strong data-start=\"4159\" data-end=\"4173\">continuous<\/strong> \u0456 <strong data-start=\"4178\" data-end=\"4190\">repeated<\/strong> \u2014 and Scripture <strong data-start=\"4207\" data-end=\"4218\">praises<\/strong> her.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4225\" data-end=\"4228\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"4230\" data-end=\"4285\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"4236\" data-end=\"4283\">Why prayer ropes existed from the beginning<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4286\" data-end=\"4294\">Because:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4296\" data-end=\"4461\">\n<li data-start=\"4296\" data-end=\"4319\">\n<p data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4319\">The Psalms are long<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4320\" data-end=\"4351\">\n<p data-start=\"4322\" data-end=\"4351\">Priests had to pray all 150<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4352\" data-end=\"4381\">\n<p data-start=\"4354\" data-end=\"4381\">Not everyone was literate<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4382\" data-end=\"4416\">\n<p data-start=\"4384\" data-end=\"4416\">Monks prayed through the night<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4417\" data-end=\"4461\">\n<p data-start=\"4419\" data-end=\"4461\">Counting on fingers alone causes fatigue<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4463\" data-end=\"4578\">So Christians in Egypt, Palestine, Cappadocia, Gaul, Britain, and Ireland all used <strong data-start=\"4546\" data-end=\"4563\">knotted cords<\/strong> to keep count.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4580\" data-end=\"4619\">This is <strong data-start=\"4588\" data-end=\"4608\">centuries before<\/strong> the 1600s.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4621\" data-end=\"4624\" \/>\n<h1 data-start=\"4626\" data-end=\"4689\"><strong data-start=\"4628\" data-end=\"4689\">4. The Role of the Saints: Scriptural Honor, Not Idolatry<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p data-start=\"4691\" data-end=\"4765\">Many objections to the rosary come from misunderstanding honor vs worship.<\/p>\n<p we must honor parents, prophets, kings, elders, leaders, and all men \u2014<br data-start=\"5182\" data-end=\"5185\" \/><strong data-start=\"5185\" data-end=\"5251\">why would honoring the Saints who overcame the world be wrong?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5253\" data-end=\"5334\">\u2726 <strong data-start=\"5259\" data-end=\"5332\">Scripture commands us to celebrate what Christ has done in His Saints<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5335\" data-end=\"5388\">St. Paul says the thing he prays continually is this:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"5390\" data-end=\"5464\">\n<p data-start=\"5392\" data-end=\"5464\"><strong data-start=\"5392\" data-end=\"5441\">\u201cThe glory of His inheritance in the Saints.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"5441\" data-end=\"5444\" \/>\u2014 <em data-start=\"5448\" data-end=\"5464\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Ephesians1%3A18\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ephesians 1:18<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"5466\" data-end=\"5528\">Meaning:<br data-start=\"5474\" data-end=\"5477\" \/>We are to praise God for His works <em data-start=\"5512\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/KJV\/Luke1%3A48\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luke 1:48<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"5619\" data-end=\"5681\">Calling her blessed is <em data-start=\"5642\" data-end=\"5656\">not optional<\/em> \u2014 Scripture commands it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5683\" data-end=\"5693\">Therefore:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"5695\" data-end=\"5801\">\n<li data-start=\"5695\" data-end=\"5720\">\n<p data-start=\"5697\" data-end=\"5720\">Praising God for Mary<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5721\"
