A SHOE FOR PRESIDENT BUSH!
December 14th 2008. President George Bush, while giving a
press conference in Baghdad today, had a reporter throw first one
she at him, then he had time to throw yet a second show at him.
Bush was able to duck away from both shoes. While the NT teaches
we have a certain amount of "respect" for "authorities" (within a
certain context, for who would want to respect a leader such as
Adolph Hitler); we know that Iraq by and large is not a Christian
nation, hence I guess such showing as throwing shoes at our
Western world's President Bush, is a way of showing disapproval
of his Government's policies.
Bush himself afterwards said he thought is was not much
different than having crowds of people "booing" him, or shouting
their disapproval of his policies, as he encountered in varies
Western nations, where he has appeared over the last 8 years.
The hard cold facts are that he is going to go down in
history as the most "disliked" President of all time.
His term of office certainly does show the "religious" right
that Bush was not "the man chosen of God" - he was not the answer
to bringing the USA back to serving God. It shows that while God
is supreme ruler of the universe and planet earth (that He can
step in at any time to literally establish rulers or remove them
from rule) He is NOT into our politics, but the vast majority of
time, sits on the side line watching all our often crazy
politicians, doing crazy things, to take our peoples AWAY from
God and NOT leading them back to the Lord or His Holy Word and
Commandments.
Evil is abounding and the love of many is waxing cold, just
as Jesus said it would in the last days. In the Western world we
have only a form of Godliness, form of Christianity, but we deny
the POWER of it, just as the apostle Paul said it would be at the
end of the age.
Prophecy is marching on, and the truths of God's word are
either forgotten, ignored, done away with, or having shoes
trample them under foot, not from a reporter in Iraq but from
leaders and the average person in our very own so-called
"Christian" nations.
To be continued from time to time.
