NORTH AMERICAN CAR MAKERS GET FINANCIAL AID
Today December 19th was the day that GM is promised 9.4 BILLION
dollars and Chrysler about 4 BILLION dollars with the promise of
another 4 Billion, for them. Ford says it needs no money right
now. Billions of dollars from tax payer's money, to GM and Chrysler
comes with many stipulations, and it means a full and complete
maker-over for those two car manufacturing companies. Maybe they'll
get onto the "complete makeover" shows on TV.
It is a historic event, and time will only tell if those two car
makers plus Ford, will still be in business by the end of 2009.
Dateline program had a deep look at the Housing repossessions and
evictions. It is truly staggering how many are out of home.
The last few months of 2008 have been history making and the
world in many ways is going to be changed as not seen since the
Industrial Revolution.
The price for oil is at the bottom of the barrel, and it could
well be that we will finally move into the space age with the
electric car, solar heating, and many more such things that does
not depend on digging out oil from the ground. Maybe we are on to
the push towards space age living at last. Politics, corruption,
and the oil cartel have for 30 years or more held back the true
space age society from taking off like a rocket.
Hold your breath for a huge roller-coaster ride in 2009.
