Why are we celebrating?
"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us
and accomplished redemption for His people, and raised up a
horn of salvation for us in the house of David His servant.
. . Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all who
hate us; to show mercy toward our fathers and to remember
His holy covenant, the oath which he swore to Abraham our
father, to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand
of our enemies, might serve Him without fear in holiness and
righteousness before Him all our days." (Luke 1:68-75)

Prince of Peace, Mighty God (Isaiah 9;6)
Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6) Rock of Salvation (Deut. 32:15; I Cor. 10:1-5) Emmanuel, "God with us" (Matt. 1:23) Holy One (Mk. 1:24) Lamb of God (Jn. 1:29) Prince of Life (Acts 3:15) Lord God Almighty (Rev. 15:3) Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5) Root of David (Rev. 22:16) Word of Life (I Jn 1:1) Author and Finisher of Our Faith (Heb. 12:2) Advocate (1 Jn. 1:1) The Way & The Truth (Jn. 14:6) Dayspring (Lk. 1:78) Lord of All (Acts 10:36) I Am (Jn. 8:58) Son of God (Jn. 1:34) Shepherd and Bishop of Souls (1 Peter. 2:25) Messiah (Jn. 1:41) Husband or bridegroom (Hos.2:7; Isa. 54:5; Matt 9:15) Saviour (2 Pet. 2:20) Chief Cornerstone (Eph. 2:20) King of kings (I Tim. 6:15; Rev. 19:16) Righteous Judge (2 Tim. 4:8) Light of the World (Jn. 8:12) Head of the Church (Eph. 1:22) Morning Star (Rev. 22:16) Sun of Righteousness (Mal. 4:2) Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:11) Chief Shepherd (1 Pet. 5:4) Resurrection and Life (Jn. 11:25) Horn of Salvation (Lk. 1:69) Governor (Mt. 2:6) Creator (Col. 1:13-17; Gen. 1:1 w/ John 1:1) The Alpha and Omega (Rev. 1:8) We glorify and celebrate God's consistent justice and forgiving mercy: "Thou shalt have no other gods (authorities) before me...for I, The Lord Thy God, am a jealous God visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me." (Exodus 20:2-6) Neither men, nor rulers of men can stop God's plan. "Yea, before the day was, I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall prevent it?" (Isaiah 43:13). For even rulers make decisions in terms of God's plan. "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." (Prov. 21:1) It can never be said of created man or of man's creation: "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen." (Romans 11:36) "And, thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands. They shall perish, but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment. And as a cloak shall thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail." (Heb. 1:10-12) We love Him for His perfect salvation because of our many failures to save ourselves: "We are all as an unclean thing, and all (our) righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; our iniquities...have taken us away." (Isa.64:6) We have all failed to meet God's perfection, thus we need a substitute. That substitute is Christ Jesus, who is perfect. He is an Advocate for those who have repented and turned to Him for forgiveness and reconciliation. He stands before God having met God's requirements for perfection and bears the punishment of all who will repent and become His loving servant seeking His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Rom. 5:6-8; I John 1:6-10; et. al.) |
"Father, Holy be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen] (Matt. 6:9-13) |
We, humbled sinners, who have found salvation and redemption
in Christ Jesus recognize the meaning of repentance as a
total turning back to God and His Ways, as shown us in His
Law-Word. To turn to God means to accept our subordination
to Him and Sovereignty in ALL things We forsake all other
authorities other than God's Authority, because there is no
"authority" outside of God's Authority. We serve no other
master and proclaim Him our King, our Lawgiver, and our
Judge. His Kingdom Government in other words is of Him, by
Him and for Him.
"The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments." Eccl 12:13,14 |
Who are we who celebrate in Christ's Victory?
Saved Forever by Grace through Faith (Heb 7:25)
Forgiven (Eph. 1:7) Accepted (Rom. 1:7) Beloved of God (Rom. 1:7) A Servant of the Most High God (Acts 16:17) A New Creature (2 Cor. 5:17) Dead to Sin, Alive to God (Rom. 6:11) Walking in the Newness of Life (Rom. 6:4) Baptized into Christ Jesus (Rom 6:3) A Temple of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 6:19) Clothed with Christ (Gal. 3:27) Holy (Heb. 3:1) Blameless (I Cor. 1:8) At Peace with God (Rom. 5:1) Called a Christian (Acts 11:26) Born Again (I Pet. 1:4) A Partaker of the Divine Nature (2 Pet. 1:4) Empowered by God (Eph. 3:20) A Child of Promise (Gal. 4:28) One in Him (Gal. 3:28) A Member of The Body of Christ (I Cor. 12:27) Seated in Heaven (Eph. 2:26) A Kingdom Citizen (Phil 3:20) Chosen race and Royal Priesthood (I Pet. 2:9) A Vessel of Honor (2 Tim. 2:21) Salt of the Earth (Matt. 5:13) Light of the World (Matt. 5:14) A Soldier of Christ (2 Tim. 2:3). A Minister of Reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18) Kings and priests unto God (Rev. 1:6) We, the Christian Ambassadors of the King of kings and Lord of lords unbind ourselves and celebrate our redemption and freedom from all ungodly law and institutions that are not ordered after God's Law-Word. This repentance is a love for God's Way; and ultimately, a return to a social order whose structure is ordered by the will of God, not man. "Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His judgment, and His commandments, always." (Deut. 11:1) "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments." (I John 2:3) "If you love Me, keep My commandments." (I John 2:5) "Thou shalt love The Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." (Deut. 6:4-5; Matt. 22:40; Mark 12:28-31) We rejoice and celebrate in our redemption from death, and all other enemies, through the grace granted us through the death, burial and resurrection of the sacrificial Lamb of God and our identification with, belief and confession of the same Christ Jesus, through the obedience commanded us to repent and to be baptized‹immersed‹in the name of Christ Jesus. (John 3:3,5; Romans 6, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:37-39; Acts 19:5; Gal. 3:27, Eph. 4:5; I Peter 3:21; Matt. 28:18-20) We declare His Law-Word as the only source of Authority and lawful Law upon which all worldly rights and freedoms are secured. We acknowledge Christ's Kingdom Reign here, now and forever as prophesied of in Isaiah 9:6&7 and established in the New Covenant. "Be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. . . Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:7,9) "For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. . ." (2 Chronicles 16:9) "Be strong in the LORD, and in the strength of His might." (Ephesians 6:10 and also 11-18) "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong" (I Cor. 16:13) We humbly and thankfully fight on with the assurance of the promises, protections, and measure of authority granted us by the love of our King and Savior, Christ Jesus in defense of and enforcement of His dominion. Including, Psalms 91, Isaiah 52:2&3, Psalms 119:23, I Peter 2:9, I Peter 3:12, Psalms 97:10, II Chron 16:9, II Chron 7:14 and all others incorporated within His Law Word unto His faithful servants. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (John 13:34,35) "And hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Rom. 5:5) "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (I Tim. 1:7) We do bind ourselves together, as one body, in loving service to our King, and one another, in agreement to work for, build up and affirm God's kingdom rule in the world as ordained, revealed and commanded by His Law-Word. We seek unconditional repentance, in all humility and surrender, of every "power" in rebellion to God‹man, woman, child and beast‹to the Authority, Sovereignty and Dominion of Christ Jesus. |
With assurances like these,
how can we not
celebrate?
"Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they
will be taken away; if there are tongues, they will cease;
if there is knowledge, it will be done away. . . But now
abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of
these is love." (I Cor. 13:8,13)
"Having received a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us be joyful, by which we serve God acceptably with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28,29) |
Celebrate Christ's Victory
in an active faith, hope and love!
