our statement of faith at
  watchmen bible study group

Welcome, Watchmen Bible Study Group is a small, non-denominational, Christian organization.  We have been on the Internet since 1998.  As of June 2004 we are registering approx. 43,000 visits a year to our Website.  We are not affiliated with any other organization or any denomination; we are an independent Christian Bible study group; our only allegiance is to the Word of God, and heartfelt desire to teach it accurately―and that by the Holy Spirit of God.  We are supported and funded by the Editor's own personal monies, and that which is Donated by like-minded and concerned readers.

Though on this site we blatantly and unafraid come against the powerful institutions of this world,  which themselves are empowered by satan; we advocate no violence, for we are sure that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers , against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:12).  We battle a spiritual battle where truth and hard-documentation from the written Word of God are the weapons of the day; and are confident that If God be for us, then none can overcome us―knowing that the gates of hell herself cannot prevail.  And we faithfully and obediently ask that if God be not with us in our work, that He remove us from this our little corner of the Internet.

We believe that Almighty God is the Author of the Universe and the Creator of everything within it. We also believe that the only Begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, is our Savior whom died on the cross for the sins of all of mankind whom believe upon Him. He was resurrected on the third day, and He now sits at the right hand of God, our Heavenly Father, awaiting the appointed time of His return at His Second Advent.

Who We Are
Return to Index

Welcome, we are a non-denominational Christian Bible study group.  This site has studies for beginner through advanced Bible students.  We hope that this site will enhance your personal study of our Heavenly Father's letter to us - The Bible.

We all, as Christians, can come to a more perfect understanding of God's truth and His will for us in our lives through the study of His Holy Written Word - The Bible, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God..." (2 Tim 2:15).

And it is indeed through that faith which we gain from this study, "So then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom 10:17), that allows us to see the perfect operation of The Holy Spirit of Almighty God in the action and influence on the words spoken and written by the Prophets and Apostles of old, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Pet 1:21), in the completeness, interrelation, and relativity of the sixty-six separate books that constitute the Holy Bible.

This Bible, two Testaments (Covenants, Promises); the New not taking away the Old but rather the New fulfilling the promises contained within the Old, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." - Jesus Christ speaking- (Matt 5:17); written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God through some thirty-three different men over a period of approximately 1584 years covering events that constitute eternity, an eternity that had no beginning and shall have no end.

Time means nothing to God, for our God, the only God, The "I Am That I Am" (Ex 3:14) 'was' before there was time itself, and He shall 'be' long after man's time itself fails!

Isaiah 46:9-10
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. (KJV)
 [The Lord God speaking]

Rev 22:13
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (KJV)
  [Jesus Christ speaking]

As well, we know and are fully confident that the Lord God preserved His true written Word from since He first moved man to record it till our generation even, and beyond into the eternity (which has no end for those who overcome through Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God and our Savior).  His Word is Truth and can be fully trusted.

We do not doubt, as do many who have no faith, that the Lord was able and did guide, protect, and preserve His true Word in the good 'ole King James Bible as it was handed down through the millennia in written form by men who were moved and inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.

The Bible is not merely a timeless literary masterpiece, though it is timeless and quite the masterpiece, but rather it is a handbook so to speak, a letter written on a personal level to all whom believe; a guide to understanding the will of our Creator the Lord God; without which we become sails without wind, children tossed to and fro not knowing the true from the false, the holy from the profane, a miserable lot with no instruction in righteousness and a possessor of no promise; quite destitute of any hope.  Our Heavenly Father did not and would not ever leave us in such a state - God forbid!  God Himself preserved and preserves His Word:

Ps 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (KJV)

Matt 24:35
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (KJV)  [Jesus Christ speaking]

That is the resumé of the Bible and the Author of it's words, it's ultimate authority is our Heavenly Father - The Lord God: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Tim 3:16).

And we muse with the Psalmist (probably Hezekiah authored this Psalm): "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Ps 119:105)

God bless your study of His Word!

The Rapture

We do not believe that there shall be any such Rapture (the removal of Christians from the Earth before or during the Great Tribulation) prior to the Second Advent of Christ Jesus; see our:

The Rapture Theory; What Does God's Word Say About It?: A comprehensive look at one of the fastest spreading doctrines among Christian congregations such as the Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Evangelical, Charismatic, Catholic Apostolic Churches (Irvingite sect), and others independent and hard to categorize.  It is said that approximately 50% of Christian Churches teach some form of a Rapture Doctrine.  We, as Christians, thoroughly search the Scriptures of God and swiftly debunk the Rapture doctrines for what they are, doctrines of deception.

The Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ literally was God in the flesh while on the earth; see our:

The Holy Spirit & The Holy Trinity:   If someone walked up to you today and asked you to explain the Holy Spirit, could you do it?  I mean, could you really do it?  What about Jesus, you could explain Him certainly?  Or how about God, could you explain the Lord God to your new friend?  And when you were done answering those three questions, would you have been describing three separate individuals or only one, and would that have been clear to the person asking?  Surprisingly, most people will only get one out of the three correct, many more might get two out of the three questions correct, but if we have done our work well you shall get all three correct in about an hour.  We ask wisdom and understanding from our Heavenly Father — in Jesus Christ's name — as we search His Word for our answers.....(continued at the study)

CHAPTERS INCLUDE:

 • The Holy Spirit & The Holy Trinity;

 • Jesus Christ;

 • The Holy Spirit: Greek — tó pneúma tó hágion. Hebrew — 'eth Ruwach qodesh;

 • Result of a skewed understanding of the Holy Spirit - the danger of unhealthy 'spiritual' visits by masquerading evil spirits;

And two appendices including:

 • Baptism; How to Baptize. & section from Hislop's The Two Babylons regarding the Catholic Baptism;

 • The so-called 'Unknown' Tongues.

Our position on the antichrist
Return to Index

We also believe and are warned by the prophecies in God's Holy Written Word, The Bible, that in these latter days, satan, as the antichrist will deceive the world by his (satan's) coming as an imposter of God, promoting himself to be the True Messiah. We find this revolting and stand against it by the Grace of God.  See our:

The Antichrist
Description of study:  The very sound of the name 'antichrist' sends cords of revulsion through the soul of any Christian.  He is the enemy of God and Christ, therefore he is our enemy!  But who is he? How are we to identify him when he manifests himself?  Will we know him?  Is he a man born of woman; is he a computer in Belgium; was he Mussolini or Hitler that some thought he was; will he be the Pope of Rome that some think he will?  When does he appear?  How does he appear? Will he kill Christians where-by we will know it is he?  Will he have horns and breath fire, so that we will know to flee from him?  And lastly, will he have "666" tattooed on his forehead and right hand, and insist that we too also bear them, where-by we will know to rebuke this evil one?

Our trust in the King James Bible
Return to Index

We also believe that the King James Bible, as come by way of translations of copies faithfully handed down of the original ancient Biblical Manuscripts, is the Holy Spirit Inspired Word of Almighty God, and it is:

2 Tim 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (KJV)

We believe that the King James Bible is itself true and faithful to the Spirit of God that inspired the Prophets and Apostles to put it into writing from the beginning. It is the Written Word of the Eternal Living Almighty Lord God, our Heavenly Father. See our:

Adulterations in the Newer Bible Versions (NIV, NASB...); Proof that the King James Bible (KJV) is the True Word of God  Those, whom, we as God's children have trusted throughout the centuries to safeguard the Sacred Biblical Texts, have in fact betrayed God and us by slipping corruptions into the manuscripts that all the newer Bible versions were translated from;  newer meaning those after the original King James Bible (KJV / A.V.) , and then those who didn't know any better passed them along as being good and sound Scripture.  Thank God that He has preserved His Word in the King James Version Bible which has been read, studied, and trusted for four-hundred years.  If you study from or quote Scripture from any of the newer Bible versions, including the: New King James Bible (NKJV), or the NIV, NASB, NRSV, NAB, RSV, CEV, TEV, GNB, Living Bible, The Word, New Jerusalem, New Century, The Message, The People's Bible (the Newest blasphemy on the market)...., then this study is a "must read" for you!  And once you find out the whole ugly truth, what will you then do?

Our position on Lexicons and Bible Dictionaries
Return to Index

While language Lexicons and Greek &Hebrew Dictionaries are indeed invaluable to the student in understanding the English Bible and the translated Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic words that appear within it, one must always be conscientious that there is inherently a certain degree of 'interpretation' and/or 'opinion' on the part of the Translator/Lexicon Writer employed as he goes about his task.  This is unavoidable due to the different nature of sentence structure and and word values between the various languages.

We, as all serious Bible students are exhorted to do as the Berean's: "...and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11), and, "...comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1 Cor 2:13)To be assured of a more perfect comprehension of a Scripture or verse even in God's Word; We must study the words written in context with the other verses before and after the target verse; We must observe who and/or what is being spoken to and/or about; What the time frame is, past, present, or future; Is it prophecy; Is the speech figurative, an idiom, or is it to be taken literally; Are there parallel Scriptures elsewhere in the Bible that collaborate our interpretation of this one....

Another invaluable help to understanding a verse in question is to take the main word, the word wherein the verse seems to hinge upon, and look up that Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic word up in your Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.  Along with giving the translation definition of the original word in it's original language, the Strong's also has a Concordance that shows you every single verse in the King James Bible (numbered to the King James Bible version only) that that word appears in.  And by reading several (or all) of the verses that employ that same Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic word (often translated into several different English words in your Bible) you will be able to get 'a feel' for the weight and meaning of the word.  Then apply that to the verse in question and you should be rewarded with greater clarity.

Our mission/goal
Return to Index

All information in these In-Depth Bible Studies comes directly out of God's Written Word, The Bible, and recognizes none of the traditions of men that have crept into the various corrupted Religions and Denominations that sadly dominate our present day.

These in-depth Bible studies are intended as supplements and aids to your understanding of the letter that your Heavenly Father has caused to be written to and for you - The Bible. These Bible studies should be used as a supplement to your studying of the entire Bible, always being ever-so-careful not to pull Scripture out of context molding it to fit man's own notions, but rather to rightly divide the Scriptures "comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1 Cor 2:13):

2 Tim 2:14-16
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. (KJV)

God bless you in your studies and your faith; in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ!

The Christian (the only) Salvation

See also, our Getting Saved, what does it mean and how can I be? to understand what the term 'being saved' means. We've all hear it, but what does it exactly mean? What does God say we have to do to attain everlasting life? Learn from God's Written Word, The Bible, what God says to us about salvation and the eternity with Him in Heaven.

The Christian Baptism

See as well, our study on Baptism in the which we examine the Scriptures on how to Baptize someone.  Are you a Christian who has not gotten Baptized after that you had became of age? (Infant Baptism is NOT in the Bible!)   Get Baptized now!  Any Christian can Baptize another Christian.  It can be done in a lake, a swimming pool, a pond, a river, a hot tub, in any body of water deep enough to fully immerse the person being Baptized in.  It isn't that the person doing the Baptizing has any hand in it (but he/she MUST be a Christian!), and it certainly it isn't some magical property of the water itself that Baptizes, it is the Lord shedding forth His grace upon the one who is being Baptized in faith, and who had heard the call to become Baptized and who did respond in obedience with "the answer of a good conscience toward God" (1 Pet 3:21) by doing so.

QUOTE:

"The following is a résumé of those things we believe in and teach from the Holy Scriptures. This list is by no means complete, but we feel it will be of help to those wishing to make a study of the Scripture as it relates to the individual, the nation, and the world in the end of this age.

We believe in the God of the Bible (Exodus 3:6-14)

We believe the Holy Bible to be the Word of God. We believe in its History, Covenants, and Prophecy (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21).

We believe in the Bible account of Creation (Genesis 1 & 2).

We believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, the Word made flesh (John 1:14).

We believe Christ died for us (Romans 5:8); also, that He was raised from the dead (Romans 6:4; Revelation 1:18).

We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Calvary (Romans 5:11); not only for Israel, but for the sins of the world (I John 2:2).

We believe Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven (Mark 16:19; Hebrews 8:1).

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ (Zechariah 14:4; Acts 1:9-14) when He shall take the Throne of David (Isaiah 9:6-7; Luke 1:32-33) and rule on earth for the prophetic thousand years known as the millennium (Revelation 20:4 Zechariah 14:9).

We believe that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

We believe in the Holy Spirit and His mission (John 16:7-14; Acts 2).

We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and it is the gift of God, and not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9). It must be preached (Romans 10:14) and it is necessary for all (Romans 3:23).

We believe that water baptism is ordained of God for all that believe (Matthew 3:13-15; Romans 6:3-5; Acts 2:37-39).

We believe in the ordinance of the communion as established by Jesus Christ (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16).

We believe in prayer, and whatever the immediate purpose, prayer should be that God's Will be done on earth (Matthew 6:10; I John 5:14-15). We must forgive to be forgiven (Matthew 6:14).The Holy Spirit will help us to pray (Romans 8:26-27). If we ask in faith and in the Name of Jesus Christ, He will hear (John 15:16; James 1:6-7).

We believe that God chose out a special people unto Himself to be His servants and those servants were to be the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob called "Israel" (Deuteronomy 7:6; Psalm 105:6; Isaiah 44:1-2).

We believe the Bible with God's law, statutes and judgments was given to Israel (Exodus 20: Psalm 147:19-20) and through Israel's prophets came the inspired Scriptures (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21).

We believe civil law was given by God to Israel (Deuteronomy 4:1-2). The law was given for Israel's good (Deuteronomy 5:33). God commands us to obey civil law (Romans 13:1-7).

We believe that one day out of seven is the Sabbath of the Lord (Exodus 20:10) and that Israel was to keep it (Deuteronomy 5:15) as a sign between Israel and the Lord (Exodus 31:16-17). We believe Christ became our Sabbath (Hebrew 4:8; Colossians 2:16-17). (Hebrew 4:9- There remaineth therefore a rest [Gr. Sabbatismos] to the people of God).

We believe Israel was to be punished if God's laws for the nation were disregarded (Deuteronomy 28:15-68; Isaiah 42:24; Amos 3:2).

We believe that the New Covenant was made with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:8-12) which meant Israel was to become Christian and that Jesus confirmed that Covenant (Galations 3:16-17; Romans 15:8).

We believe that Israel was promised redemption (Psalm 130:7-8; Isaiah 52:3; Hosea 13:9-14); that Jesus Christ came to Israel (Matthew 10:6); that He was recognized as the Redeemer of Israel (Galations 4:5; Titus 2:14), and His death and resurrection accomplished that redemption (Galations 4:4-5; Hebrews 9:12).

We believe that after Christ's death and resurrection Israel was to be called by a new name (Isaiah 62:2). Israel was not to be remembered by her old name (Hosea 2:17); and the new name was to be the Lord's Name (II Chronicles 7:14) which would be CHRISTIAN (Christ man) (Acts 11:26; I Peter 4:16).

We believe that each individual, of Israel or not, must be born of water and of the Spirit to be a Christian (John 3:3-8; I Peter 1:23).

We believe in an existing Satan, who is called the serpent (Genesis 3:1; Revelation 12:9); who has power with devils and men (Matthew 12:22; I Peter 5:8); who has a people who will not hear God (John 8:44-47), some of whom deceive people as "ministers of righteousness" (II Corinthians 11:13-15).

We believe that Jesus Christ has broken the power of Satan (Hebrews 2:14) and His Name makes devils impotent against Christians (Luke 10:17).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ along with His followers are at battle with Satan and his followers (Ephesians 6:11-19): And that Jesus Christ is the victor in this "battle" (Isaiah 28:21-22; 45:17-25; Ezekiel 38-39; Hosea 13-14; Joel 3:9-21; Micah 7:16-20; Zechariah 14:9 Malachi 4; Matthew 28:18; Luke 19:27; I Corinthians 15:24-28; Philippians 2:9-11; II Peter 3:7-13; Revelation 11:18; 15:4; 19:11-15 and others).

We believe in the resurrection of the dead as prophesied (Job 19:25-27; Hosea 13:13-14; John 5:29); as proven (I Peter 1:3); as taught by the Scripture (Acts 24:14-15; I Corinthians 15:11-26) and that the resurrected will reign with Christ (II Timothy 2:11-12) for ever (Revelation 22:1-5).

We believe the seventh trump sounds after the tribulation (Matthew 24: 29-31). Paul wrote his second letter to the Thessalonians because he knew the first had been misunderstood, concerning Christ's second return. Paul then gives two signs which will be present when the Day of the Lord comes. Those signs being the apostasy and the man of lawlessness. Neither of these signs were present at that time.

Apostasy means giving up or renouncing of one's professed principles, or faith. This will come to pass when the religious lamb (false messiah) of Revelation 13:11 comes to pass. He will look like the Lamb of God, but his voice is of the dragon, for he is the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan (Revelation 12:9). When the false christ stands in the holy place performing in the sight of Christians, the pretribulation-rapture-Christian shall think it is Christ coming to rapture them away. It is the duty of the elect to stand and witness in the synagogues, allowing the Holy Spirit to give His Message to the world through you. (Mark 13:9).

Christ is your spiritual Husband. You should remain a spiritual virgin until He returns (II Corinthians 11:2). For Christ Himself said; "Woe to them that are with child in those days!" (Mark 13:17). If your spiritual Husband has been on a long journey and finds you with child when He returns, then you have been impregnated (deceived) with the mark of the false messiah, and worshiped Satan in the last hour. Study God's Word."

(END OF QUOTE)

AntiSemitism?
We do not perform any manner of AntiSemism here at WBSG.

But what is AntiSemism?
To Top

As a shield for the elite, this misnomer and false charge (antiSemitism) is thrown up whenever one gets too close to the truth.  And it is used simply as a device to discredit and defame any who dare be so belligerent as to expose the factual, provable facts that are unflattering to a special group (Kenites) who lie hidden within a larger unwitting group (Jews).

When we speak of these "International Jews," who have demonstrably and self-admittedly conspired for Centuries to control the events of this world, do we mean to speak of every person on the planet that calls himself a Jew?  Of course not.  That would be much too simplistic.  Nothing is ever all, nothing is ever every; there are always exceptions, exclusions, subgroups, and there are elites.  What is a Jew anymore?  Anything that he says he is, that is the definition of the Jew today.  For there are Christian Jews, Black and Oriental Jews, American, Israeli, and Arab Jews, even Atheist Jews―but they would all self-identify as Jews.  The word Jew has no real or specific meaning anymore.  Truth is, they themselves don't even know exactly what does, or does not, constitute being a Jew; how could we ever hope to?

But that does not change the fact that there is an identifiable international cadre of remarkable personalities, small and close-knit, who take their high seats at the global helm of all things Political, Educational, Financial, and Religious; who, with little more than a phone call: command Kings, Presidents, and Popes; foment revolutions; bankrupt nations; cast worlds into war; set agenda, pass law, and corrupt morals―who have one great thing in common―they call themselves Jews.

So what is it if I also call them Jews?  Though we both, them and I, know that they are so much more than common everyday Jews.  Endowed with power and wisdom from on-low in the Garden of Eden, sworn to serve their god and father satan; they, this conscienceless super-intelligent elite group (Kenites) hiding themselves within Jewry; have been given power from the other side of the abyss: to own, control, and corrupt this world, until the antichrist satan returns to take what he determines to be his.

And for a short time, at the end of the world, at the price of his soul, satan shall indeed lord over this world.  After that, comes the end.

AntiSemitic?  Semitism has absolutely nothing at all to do with these that I refer to as the International Jew.  Though they have many names, they are Satanic by every definition of the word: by blood (Cain), by faith (Satanists), by deed (destroyers), by power (ultimate, for a time).

We, as faithful and true Christians, both washed and protected by the Blood of the Lamb: learn, where others willingly remain ignorant; observe, where others close the eye; speak, where others are mute; act, where others slumber; and fight, where others  surrender: and all this by the grace of God in our Lord Jesus Christ.

And because of this: we are often at odds with mainstream Christendom; accused by other religions; at enmity with the non-religious; and singled out for attack by the enemy, especially.  So be it; for, for us, there is no alternative.
