THE WORLD'S MELTDOWN FOR A WEEK
May 23rd 2009. Sri Lanka's civil war of 25 years seems to be
over, but it cost 8,000 plus civilian lives (about 71,000 killed
since 1983) and another 250,000 refugees on the run, needed the
basics of life. How we need God's Kingdom to come when nations
will learn war no more

The swine Flu is in Japan. The WHO organization is in Geneva to
figure how to combat it if it raises its head much higher come "flu
season" again.
......
Japan has a 4 per cent decline in first quarter of 09 - deeper
than the USA or Britain recession. And those countries are still
in DEEP unemployment troubles.
......
Some USA banks want out of Government control. We'll see if they
get it.
......
Obama says he's going to legislate that in the USA there is a 30
per cent reduction by 2016 of pollution from cars (combustion
engines) and more miles to the gallon. It's time to legislate
such ancient ways to move cars is outlawed period!
......
A 4. something earthquake struck just below Los Angeles. No injuries,
but that whole West coast fault-line could go at any moment. They say
it is just a matter of time. If it gave way in a catastrophe
manner the whole West coast could go under the Pacific Ocean.
......
The President of Israel - Natanyahu - met with Obama in the White
House. Obama wants to see a Palestinian State - Nat guy says no
way. The Jews continue to settle and build where the Palestinians
do not desire, or as it seems the USA and Britain, do not desire.
At least both Nat and Obama agree they do not want Iran to have
Unclear bomb, but they will probably have it in the not too
distant future.

The Hubble telescope is up and running once more, repairs
finished good, and new stuff in it should give us insights into
the universe as never before. Then again Europe has sent up an
even better space eye, to do even better things than Hubble.
Make sure you buy those DVDs from the History Channel on the
"Universe," season one and season two. They are terrific -
mind bending - WalMart should have them.

The car of the future may well come from China! They have
perfected a battery that will give about 150 miles before having
to plug in, and new tech. will recharge in minutes not hours. A
very nice looking car it is. They call it "BYD" - Build Your
Dream. So watch out for China to take the lead in electric cars,
unless Japan and the USA get off their duff.
......
Talking about the electric car. Did you know GM had them over 10
years ago, but by 2003 they literally "squashed" them and buried
them in the desert of California. Now, GM is trying to get on the
electric wagon once more, if they survive at all. Maybe they
should not, survive that is - time will tell.
......
A fellow in Canada has made the small electric car, but the silly
Can. Government has tried to stop him all the way. Finally the
Province of Quebec said, "Shove off you Feds, we will allow the
car to be on our roads." Good for Quebec! The same guy now says
he'll make a larger highway electric car in about one year, that
will give all that China says it will deliver with its electric
car. Good for him. Move aside Japan and the USA here comes Canada
and China!

Green Energy/Re-newable Energy: GERMANY leads the way. About 15
per cent of all German energy is from the little farmer re-
newable energy investors. Yes farmers getting with it and selling
back to the Grid. They say in 25 years 100 per cent of German
energy use will be "green" - with the little guy playing a very
large part. There has been a 500 per cent increase in Germany
going this way in the last number of years. It's taking off and
succeeding!
Then you get the opposite from Canada. Small guys wanted to do
the same as in Germany - Ontario Province bucked it all the way,
made it just about impossible for the small fellow to enter. And
apparently Ontario has some of the most powerful natural winds
etc. to really move into what Germany has already done, but the
"big wigs" are so dumb they can't see, or don't want to see
what's biting their backside to get moving into "green" like
Germany.
No wonder God says our leaders are MAD!

Couple of good stories to finish on. This lady has a best friend
horse of 12 years, with it every day (nice indeed, I can't be
with my horse Godlie every day, but part of that is by choice, as I've
got other things in my life very important right now), but a wind
storm comes along, lifts the barn up with the horse in it, plunks
it down again and the horse smashes it leg. Can not be saved so
they have to put the horse down. The vets manage to save some of
the horse's eggs. Neighbors come with their mare horses to be
surrogate mothers. Two foals are born - twins (just about never
happens) - one looks just like the ladies Buckskin mare she had
to say goodbye to.
A family of Peregrine Falcons (they have taken the air-dynamics
of those birds to use in human aviation) have a home under the
Windsor/Detroit bride, that is the busiest bridge in North
America. They are doing just fine and seem to enjoy their home.
Up, up, and away as they say. You ain't for the birds for sure!
