ANOTHER WEEK OF MELT-DOWN FOR THE WORLD
May the 31st - Sunday - Pentecost 2009. One more week has gone
by.
The USA is upset at North Korea for its movement into the Atom
bomb and missile rockets. So is China and of course South Korea.
As if the tongue-lashing from those countries will do any good,
but I suppose they have to say something to let the world know
they are "naughty boys" playing with fire, as if the USA, China,
Pakistan, India, Israel, have not been playing with fire for
decades. Nothing that other nations will say or even do, can
prevent a nation like North Korea with its leadership, moving
towards full weapon building as like the USA has. North Korea has
now gone too far to turn around and step back, and if the USA
thinks they will, then the leaders of the USA are dreaming in
never-never-land.
The powers of the East will have mighty space age weapons when
the hour and day arrives for them to fulfil prophecy as given in
Revelation 9.
......
California upholds the bar on same sex marriage. If you blinked
you may have missed that news. The world sure did not want to
stay on that decision but for a few seconds. Good on California!
......
GM is about to put in for bankruptcy, and so big re-shaping,
which it will need to do if it is going to still be around,
breathing and living, in the car manufacturing world.
......
Japan has a few green shoots they say in the economy or stock
market. I think the news guys need to say such things, to try and
get the people spending again, but it ain't working. People are
still loosing their jobs and people will not spend when they
cannot spend. Until people are back to work, the world will not
get out of its economical and financial mess.
......
Unemployment in Canada is still mighty high, especially in the
West, Alberta and British Columbia. Canadian personal debt is 1.3
TRILLION dollars for 2008. 21 per cent are over their heads. 33
per cent of the working class have no savings.
......
The gal Napolitano from the USA finally openly admitted that the
9/11 terrorists DID NOT come into the USA via Canada. That was
one big blunder, along with McCain guy. Educated people with un-
educated facts, voicing un-educated words, that come back and
bite them in the ass.
......
OPEC fellows deliberately producing less oil, so oil is up in
price. They suppose that doing so will bring the world economy
back to par. This is crazy thinking! All it does is get people
travelling less because the price of gas is too high, which means
people spend less. Hence OPEC shoots the hand that feeds it. Dumb
reasoning I would say. And it also means people will move
speedier to find alternative ways for energy than oil. And that
to me is about time it happened. Keep the dirty old black stuff
where God put it, deep in the earth.
......
A Canadian company has come to the part rescue of OPEL, the GM
part in Europe. They say with others in on the act, it could mean
a door into Russia for car exports. I think China has something
to say to the rest of the world about the electric cars they are
producing; goin' to rock the socks off some.
......
Talking of cars. Ford is holding in without asking for bailout
money. Now that is not because they are selling, they actually
lost 14.7 Billion in 2008, but they had borrowed 23 Billion when
the borrowing money market was fluent. It was good wise judgment
on their part.
......
And still with Ford and cars. The TAURUS is back! It is back for
2010. I've only ever bought 2 new cars in my lifetime (nearly 67,
will be on 9/11 09) and one was the first Taurus out in 1987,
when it was voted the car of the year. It was a super car I must
admit. And so I've had a soft spot for the Taurus ever since. The
car I drive now is a 2001 Taurus, and the car before that was a
1995 Taurus. I'll put the Taurus up against any car of the same
class in the price category. And the Ford 2010 Taurus sounds to
be a fine space-age car with classy looks. I think in a few years
I'll have to get one of them, yes I think so, a red one. My oh my
with my Golden Palomino fast track Goldie horse and a new red Taurus,
I'll be the cats meeeooowww!
I'm being funny I know, but I will say I do like, have always
liked the Ford Taurus, and I'm delighted to know they are
bringing it back.
