He then finally states robustly:"for Biblical reasons alone, as well as scientific reasons Christians should never go to a psychotherapist, and should never go to one voluntarily. And I would add that, as the Biblical counselling is practiced today: Don't go there, don't send them there. Take a look at Philippians 4:8, you know this verse:"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things."You can tell what somebody is thinking about when they're talking to you about issues and problems." (basically unBiblical gossip against family members who aren't there, and there's no way for you to tell if it's true or not...."" (end quote)Watchman comments: Biblically we're to "Go and tell the person the thing they trespassed between him and thee ALONE" (Matt 18:15) This provides the first basic opportunity for what's listed above as "honest, true ...etc.." Without that it is just obstruction and damage to any Believer. Anyone who says Jesus is their Lord (or leader) will gladly follow what He said (His law written on their hearts). Afterwards, how many times does it say you must forgive for their trespass? (if they come to you again and repent each time)? 70x7 times, read Matt 18:22. Notice this is always privately and in person. Those who never once tried this way (and only gossip behind backs) are the highest suspects as doing the highest crimes against the church of Jesus Christ. If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you will DELIGHT in this law of Jesus and not look for ways to continue lying, abusing the system and doing more and more "sins unto death" like "bearing false witness against thy neighbor", but you will "got to him, between him and thee alone" and apologize freely, openly, quickly, and 70x7 times, and "forgive them the way you want to be forgiven". As Christians don't judge to begin with, we probably will find it was just a small misunderstanding anyhow. Jesus solves everything, and the way we forgive is the way He forgives us (See the daily prayer Christ gave us, also called the Lord's prayer, listed this type of forgiveness as more important than "this day's daily bread"). Anyone who willfully refuses to do such minimal requirements of communicating, as required by Jesus (ordered by Lord Jesus directly as listed above) and instead engage in weaponizing the worst aspects of an ungodly system, (not bringing their deeds to the light how Christ prescribed specifically for all cases) pretty much gives away the fact that: A. They have not truly received Christ as their Lord and savior (yet), willfully reject Him, and are unsaved (and those who reject Him are damned: Mark 16:16). B. Are evidencing it's likely they're lying or know it's false. (listed as the great "sins unto death" bearing false witness, as well as the first people listed as thrown into the lake of fire) which they openly admit is their only Lord, while *they fully reject Jesus as their leader (Lord)*. ...
