Foot and Hand Washing in Scripture

Dies kann auch eine Ergänzung zu einer Studie darüber sein, wie die Reinheitsgesetze in der keltisch-orthodoxen Kirche eingehalten wurden. Beispielsweise, Verheiratete Äbte, Priester, Mönche und Nonnen der keltischen Kirche. At Ablution (ceremonial washing) the blessings or Beatus were sung daily by the Culdees communities, as per the rule of St Maelruan. 

ABLUTION
The singing of Beatus at ablution is a practice that involves chanting or reciting the word Beatus, which means “blessed” or “happy” in Latin, while washing one’s hands or feet or other parts of the body or possessions. Ablution is a prescribed washing with the intent of purification or dedication. Around the time of Tertullian, an early Church Father, it was customary for Christians to wash their hands (manulavium), head (capitilavium) and feet (pedilavium) before Gebet, as well as before receiving heilige Kommunion.

FOOT AND HAND WASHING IN SCRIPTURE

Johannes 13: 8 Petrus spricht zu ihm: Du sollst meine Füße niemals waschen. Jesus antwortete ihm: Wenn ich dich nicht wasche, hast du keinen Anteil an mir.

Teachings on Spiritual cleanness, and against “unclean spirits” was a common topic in former times.

At least it is acknowledged on a physical level that feet are the most active parts of our detoxification system of the body. Feet have the most sweat glands, and almost the most nerve endings than any other part of the body. All of the worst sicknesses will exit out the foot before exiting out of any other part of the body. Especially dangerous viruses, or any other toxic build-up within the body.
If somehow the feet could be kept clean or detoxified, there would be a very clean system indeed, as Scripture tells us!

REVERSE-PHARISEES
Pharisees went overboard in a lot of the Scriptural washings, and went into “traditions of men” which Christ condemned. However now-a-days there are reverse-Pharisees going in the opposite direction against science and basic practicalities about hygiene.
Reverse-pharisees should know that Christ at least required the minimal Biblical items, as widely acknowledged in the traditions of Christianity.

Reue beinhaltet Sauberkeit

 –      Ephesians 4:19-20 „Gehen Sie nicht wie die Heiden ... geben Sie sich der Unanständigkeit hin, um alle Unreinheit mit Gier zu bearbeiten. Aber du hast Christus nicht so gelernt. “

 –      Romans 1:24-25 "Deshalb gab Gott sie auch der Unreinheit in der Lust ihres Herzens auf, um ihre Körper untereinander zu entehren, die die Wahrheit Gottes gegen die Lüge austauschten."

 –      In Galatians 5:19 we see that "Unreinheit" ist immer noch ein "Arbeit des Fleisches".

 –      Acts 26:20 „… [Dann] an die Heiden, dass sie Buße tun und sich an Gott wenden und es tun Werke treffen sich zur Umkehr. ”

–      Romans 6:19 „Denn genau so, wie Sie Ihre Mitglieder als präsentiert haben Sklaven der Unreinheit

und der Gesetzlosigkeit, die zu mehr Gesetzlosigkeit führt, Präsentieren Sie nun Ihre Mitglieder als Sklaven der Gerechtigkeit für die Heiligkeit. ”

–      II Corinthians 12:21 „Ich werde um viele trauern, die zuvor gesündigt haben und haben

nicht bereut von ihrer Unreinheit, Unzucht und Unanständigkeit, die sie praktiziert haben “

 –     In Ephesians 5:5 Paul said no unclean person has any inheritance in the Kingdom of God.

–      In I Thessalonians 4:7 he said "Denn Gott hat uns nicht zur Unreinheit berufen, sondern zur Heiligkeit."

–      In 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Do not touch that which is unclean and I will receive you”

- In Vers 16 verpflichtet uns Paulus dazu "Sei getrennt" von all dieser Unreinheit, wie sie in der Welt zu finden ist. 

- Wir werden auch davor gewarnt, "Die Taten der Unreinheit" (Colossians 3:5),

–      In Ephesians 5:3 "Alle Unreinheit ... lass es nicht einmal unter euch genannt werden ..."

Daily communion is very much encouraged by Christ and the Apostles, so this would have included at least the foot washing. Scriptural priests would have washed their feet at least three times per day. When anyone came near the Temple (as it says the First Century Church was “daily in the Temple”). Today’s practices should at least be “come ye out from among them and be ye separate.”
As “come out” will be an end times thing in Offenbarung 18: 4, this may also be a practical thing in regular holiness:

2Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”

That Scriptural warning in Revelation is reiterated throughout Scripture. National punishments often included plagues. During such times, “social distancing” is Biblical.

Jeremia 50:13 "..Jeder, der an Babylon vorbeikommt, wird erstaunt sein und über all ihre Plagen zischen."

3. Mose 26:21 „Und wenn ihr mir widerspricht und nicht auf mich hört; Ich werde siebenmal mehr Plagen nach deinen Sünden über dich bringen. “

Für jeden, der der Gegenwart Gottes näher kommt, ist eine alte Maxime, nicht mit körperlicher Unreinheit befleckt zu werden:

Exodus 30:20

„Wenn sie in die Stiftshütte gehen, werden sie sich mit Wasser waschen, damit sie nicht sterben; oder wenn sie sich dem Altar nähern, um zu dienen, um YAHWEH ein Feueropfer zu verbrennen: “

 Exodus 30:21"Also werden sie ihre Hände und Füße waschen, damit sie nicht sterben; und es wird ein Gesetz für immer für sie sein, sogar für ihn und seinen Samen während ihrer Generationen."

 As we come nearer to God’s presence, the filthiness can’t be brought in to be charged with His holy power. That is why Yahshua told Peter that he wouldn’t have any part with Him. The impurities are not only at a physical aspect but also a spiritual level.

 Feet are the most important part, for the whole body to be clean. In Johannes 13:10 Yahshua said that for such cleansing you need not wash the whole body, save the feet, for the whole body to be clean,

Johannes 13:10 "Jesus spricht zu ihm: Wer gewaschen wird, braucht nicht zu retten, um seine Füße zu waschen, sondern ist in jeder Hinsicht rein; und ihr seid rein ..."

In Bezug auf das Waschen der Töpfe und Tassen und zusätzliche „Traditionen der Menschen“, die Yahshua verurteilt hat

Er schloss mit den Worten:

Markus 7:15"Es gibt nichts von ohne einen Mann, dass das Eindringen in ihn ihn beschmutzen kann; aber die Dinge, die aus ihm herauskommen, sind diejenigen, die den Mann beschmutzen."

 Yahshua befürwortete nicht, eine der Tausenden giftiger Pflanzen oder Substanzen zu essen, die „außerhalb eines Menschen“ sind. Er brachte dies auch auf eine viel tiefere und spirituellere Ebene, von der die wirklichen Unreinheiten, vor denen man sich hüten sollte, diejenigen sind, die aus dem menschlichen Herzen kommen.

So Yahshua was still promoting the washing, only that they “perverted” that commandment by their extra added traditions. See the verses 8, 9, and 13. Mainly the feet needed cleaned, because it’s what exits out of a man that defiles a man. More importantly what exits the heart also will send spiritual frequencies through the soles, toes and fingers to bless or to curse. Everything we say and do is a blessing or curse, but also what we believe and think as an attitude in the heart!

Im Hebrews 12:15, the root of bitterness(in the heart) defiles many. In Mark 7:21 such evil passions let stay in the heart, defiles men. The heart is the beliefs/attitudes. We must renew our minds in His word, being “sanctified” in the soul. The soul is the mind, will and emotions. It is a continual process of being transformed and “washing by the water of the word”. These are “types and shadows”. The type (spiritual) doesn’t negate the shadow(physical). The physical level, soul level, and the spiritual level are are all equally important.

David said “Thy word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against Thee”. We all have a spirit body, as well as a soul body, and physical body, (see 1Thes 5:23). These are to be kept holy / sanctified. Sanctification or holiness is an action word applying to the mind, a continual struggle in spiritual warfare that most of the heavenly armour is for. Our redeemed Spirits are permanently there Justified and are perfectly unmovably holy for ever. The mind has to war between the mind of the flesh and the mind of the spirit(Romans 7:23), and the deceptions that are against His word. Galatians 5:22-23

„Aber die Frucht des Geistes ist Liebe, Freude, Frieden, Langmut, Sanftmut, Güte, Glaube, Sanftmut, Mäßigkeit: Gegen solche gibt es kein Gesetz. “

 Der Körper wird zuletzt gerettet und später verherrlicht. Bis dahin vertrauen wir nicht nur auf das Sehen unserer Augen, sondern auf das Wort der Wahrheit, den Glauben an sein gutes und geistiges Wort. Der Körper hat viele schlimmere Probleme als nur der Geist. Jedes Ding, das wir im Physischen tun müssen, hat eine Kopie, die für das geistige Reich und das Geistige gilt. Sich immer noch an das eine zu erinnern, negiert das andere nicht.

The law of YAHWEH is the spiritual guide (Romans 7:14 "Sein Gesetz ist spirituell ...")

1Johannes 2: 4 "Wer sagt, ich kenne ihn und halte seine Gebote nicht, ist ein Lügner, und die Wahrheit ist nicht in ihm."

Während des gesamten Neuen Testaments hielten Yahshua und alle seine Nachfolger daran fest, was „gute Werke“ sind und dass dies das unpervertierte Gesetz Moses ist (ohne talmudische Traditionen der Menschen).

Num 19:22 „Und was auch immer die unreine Person berührt, wird unrein sein; und die Seele, die es berührt, wird bis zum Abend unrein sein. “

Some may wish to point to Peter’s vision about men being unclean. In Acts 10:28 his vision meant that you no longer had to consider all those entire nations as unclean and divorced. Spiritual and in the soul level Yahshua had cleansed them, but this wasn’t yet at the physical level.

This is why Paul had to from the start so they will “SURVIVE and do well”, give these new gentile converts the outline of the law of Moses in Acts 12:20,

"Unzucht und Götzen und Dinge erwürgt und aus Blut."

Der meiste Schmutz und die meiste Krankheit sind im Blut. Die Gesetze, die sich mit extremen Infektionen und Blutproblemen befassen, sollten nicht mit „erwürgten Dingen“ verwechselt werden, die Fleisch verboten waren.

Im nächsten Vers weist Paulus dann darauf hin, wo die Details zu finden sind, die in diesen Umriss fallen:

Apostelgeschichte 15:21       „Denn Mose der alten Zeit hat in jeder Stadt diejenigen, die ihn predigen, die jeden Sabbat in den Synagogen gelesen werden. “

Beachten Sie die Wörter "und" und dann das Wort "für".

Even when Yashua cleansed the leper, He commanded the man to go do all the washings that all the levites require that they do. This included throwing away infected garments, many washings etc, until a priest double inspected and declared them to be clean one again (Matthew 8:3-4).

Offenbarung 18: 4

"Und ich hörte eine andere Stimme vom Himmel, die sagte: Komm aus ihr heraus, mein Volk, dass du nicht an ihren Sünden teilnimmst und dass du nicht an ihren Plagen teilnimmst."
